Studying hard will get you to college. Tell that to my daughter who graduated from high school with a 3.85 GPA, but couldn't qualify for either a grant or a scholarship, yet there were many for some 3.0 students. And, explain to her why she could not get her classes in college, yet they were filled by foreign exchange students.

There is no need for handicapped parking spaces in the jungle because only the strong survive. Tell that to my daughter's grandfather, whom has worked hard his entire life, but now has difficulty walking.

Only the strong survive. Tell that to my oldest nephew who's father never returned from a war, and to my other nephew who's father didn't return from Vietnam with the health he once had. And tell that to my close friend's wife who's husband sacrificed his life being a cop.

Serve your country and we'll give you an education and the means to buy a home. Tell that to my youngest nephew son who served in the Navy, but is still without an upper education or a home of his own.
