Imagine that! The Thought Dock was running down. Literally. Maybe you guys feel it. I did. And the heavy use of flying insults in July really too its toll. It was about to be completely consumed by the forces of nature, so something had to be done to save her.
I think the dock was built in 1984. It appears to have been constructed of fresh fallen timbers from this very home site. Everything was rough cut, Douglas Fir. The steel nails were rusty and frail. And the deck was spongy to walk on. Some spots left you feeling that it was about to give way, right away!
The weather cats say that we are 20 inches below our average rain fall. Believe that? That's more than some places get in an entire year! And the Lake shows it. Even if you fell off or through the Thought Dock, I doubt you would drown. That is unless you dove in and sunk your head into the muck.
So, with the water level low, and the weather beautiful, it was a prime time to repair the Dock. And that is what I've been doing the past three days. But now it's done! Complete with all new pressure treated lumber. Solid enough for a jacuzzi if some one would bring one.
So, get ready. With the portal rebuilt, information will flow freely once again from the Thought Dock.

Awsome, can't wait to see it and your numbers are probably down a little. If you quit pickin on Our President your numbers will thrive like his ratings.
