Road Trip-Colorado

So, we are taking a road trip. Now, because some of you don't even know what I look like, I'll take a side by side photo with Addison just so you can see the resemblence.

And, so we'll leave this Friday (yipee!), drive for a few days through Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming before arriving in Colorado from the north. Then south to the middle of the state to the base of Pike's Peak. That's where Addison will be waiting with her two brothers. 1404 miles and three days in the Manor on Wheels.

And then, we will back track north, near the east entrance to Estes National Park where we will see our other grandson and his two sisters.

Oh yes of course, the parents of all the grandchildren will be there too, but the kids will get the majority of our attention.

We'll do about a week total with each family, but by sharing blocks of 3-4 days with each one at a time.

Then , we plan to head home from Colorado on a northerly route through Wyoming, Montanna, Idaho, Washington, and back to Oregon from the north. 1703 miles. We'll be on the trip for about 3 weeks.

The sad news is that during my absense, this blog might suffer a bit and you might have difficulty quenching your thirst for Thought Dock wisdom. As before, I'll recommend tuning to Fox News while I'm away as that is the next best portal for Truth.

The mad news is that you all now have a general idea of my itinerary. I'm posting this a bit early for you to plan to meet me along my route. If you need more precise times, ask for it in the comments. I'd love to shake your hand. Now, if there is a parade in your town at the time I'm passing through, I'd be glad to be the Grand Marshall or something. Or if you just want a glimpse of me as I drive through, set up your lawn chairs, wave a flag, and I'll acknowledge you with a horn honk from the Wheeled Manor. If you are shy, or want to be anonymous, just make eye contact with me and I'll know who you are.
