Recently the California Supreme Court ruled that illegal aliens have the same rights to attend any California State college at the same tuition as any other resident of the State. Even an American from another state can't do that!
San Francisco politicians have not only made their city a "Safe Haven City" to all illegal aliens, but now have granted illegal aliens the right to vote in their local elections. And, several other states either have, or are trying to enact similar laws.
What gives California? How does anyone while still dripping wet, emerge running from the gutter into our country, have the right to attend our colleges?
And how is it that illegals have the right to vote, even in a local election. How is it that illegal aliens have the right to protest in our streets, wave their flag, burn ours, while they threaten us and demand to remain in this country?
Their right to attend college will only lessen the opportunity for a legal resident to receive a decent education. Californians are already footing the costs for the illegals children's primary education and their medical care. And their children born here are even entitled to state welfare. Now they will vote to elect their own mayor, judges, and police chief to even further their goals.
It was well predicted years ago that the cost of illegal immigration would bankrupt California, all to save a few bucks for gardeners, housekeepers and cheaper produce. California is broke and has gone to the wolves. They will be screaming to the rest of us to bail them out. I hope not!
It's too late for California to wake up. It is lost. And it could happen to the rest of us us if we sleep much longer.

Right on Dave!! I don't understand it either. I go to thrift shops to see if I can find things to sell on Ebay. I see Mexican women pushing there double strollers through the aisles with a probably two month old and a 1 year old. Another four year old is following behind and the woman is also pregnant. Who is paying for the babies?? I know how much it costs to have a baby as I have two grandchildren, and my daughter who has health insurance, still had a big co-pay when she had her children. My middle son, who works for a company that hires a lot of laborers told me a story a few days ago. One of his foremen wanted the day off because he had to pick up his girlfriend and new baby at the hospital. It is his fourth child with the woman who is his girlfriend. My son asked hime why he doesn't marry her already. He answered that she would lose her welfare if they married. To me stuff like this is totally wrong. Why should we, the ones that pay taxes, have to pay for these people???

moral or legal? i certainly don't want the government dictating morals to me or to anyone else. it is bad enough they take from my pockets to support their "legalities"
