And the People said....

.
Now, eight years ago the People installed a Republican controlled Congress.

And then the People said, “Repeal Obama Care!”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And then the People said, “Secure the borders and stop illegal immigration.”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And then the People said, “Don’t pull our troops out of Afghanistan.”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And then the People said, “Defund Planned Parenthood.”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And then the People said, “Don’t make a deal with Iran.”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And then the People said, “Don’t make a deal with Cuba.”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And then the People said, “Stand by Israel.”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And then the People said, “We don’t believe in Climate Change.”  And the Republican controlled Congress replied, “You can’t do that.”

And now, the Republican controlled Congress chants, “Re-elect me!”  And I will say, “No way.”

Cry Baby, Cry

.
How odd, I thought.  Odd that France has now taking the position as the leader of the civilized world.  It wasn't quite 80 years ago when France ran from the advancing troops of the German Nazi regime without much of a fight.  They were the laugh of the world and were called many a nasty words for failing to stand and fight.

Things seem different now.  France has become the leader in the fight against evil Islamic radicals.  They are organizing forces (even including Russia) and are now spearheading an effort to defeat ISIS.  At home, they have given more authority to the police to identify immigrant Muslims who practice radicalism Islam, revoke their citizenship and deport them to where their country belong.  And I applaud them for taking the correct stance.

Now, I cry frequently for America.  Tears frequently flood my eyes to think of where we are today.  No longer the leader of Free World, having lost the fundamentals and principles that America was founded upon.  Gone is an American leader who talked softly but carried a big stick, but instead bows before foreign kings while apologizing for acts taken by previous administrations.

I cry because our President embraces Islam, which is an enemy of the United States.  You see, Islam is incompatible with the ways of the free world.  Civilized nations like most all outside of the Arab world can not co-exist with Islam.  Plain and simple.  It is within their doctrine (the Quran) to kill anyone, in any country, not a Muslim.  Plain and simple.  And that means ALL practicing Muslims, whether thought of "radicalized" or no.  There is no such thing as moderate Islam because their own doctrine prevents it.  Their goal, by doctrine is to convert the entire world to Islam, and kill those that refuse.

The growth of the Muslim community has multiplied many a fold since our leader took office.  Tens of thousands of Muslims have flooded into America with the blessing and invitation from Obama, and he has authorized an intake to America of 1000,000 more by year's end.  And I cry for my country.

Islamic immigration presents a much greater threat to our way of life than the South Americans sneaking across our southern border.  Islam must be eradicated from the United States.  And to do that we must first deny all entry visas to Muslims.  We must stop allowing Muslims to build new mosques in America, and deconstruct the problem mosques already here.  We must revoke all temporary visas issued to anyone from an Islamic country and deport those immediately.  We must identify Muslim refugees immigratants that are capable of fighting, train them as fighters, and return them to thier contry to fight thier own battle.  And finally we must remove all other practicing Muslims in America.  I cry because I know that Islam can not co-exist in a civilized world.

And I cry because many of you will call me a radical and just roll over and give my country away as the French did a few years ago.

Hold the Aplause

.
The following post was published by a fellow Christian blogger, Christy Lee Parker.  I condensed and modified the original post.  Feel free to visit her site, madworldnews.com, for the complete version, as well as her other posts.

Yet another police officer was recently fired following public outrage after the officer arrested a black teenager at her school.  Perhaps you have seen the news and social media reports of the incident which has caused the the masses to applaud his termination.

But there is much more to this incident than what has been reported, and maybe the officer did not act so irresponsibly as it might seem.  But like so many other incidents of this nature, no one will ever know if there was evidence to support the officer, as he put on trial by the Court of Public Opinion and fired without any opportunity to defend himself.

We are raising a generation of entitled brats who think they are above all authority and the law. What are we teaching “children” and young adults when a 17- or 18-year-old can disrupt a class, ignore 3 adult authority figures, and strikes an officer, and the officer gets fired for handling the situation?

If you are applauding the termination of Officer Fields and defending that brat, go ahead and pat yourself on the back. It’s this mindset that’s breeding disrespectful punks and causing them to get shot. Stop making kids think they are above the law and authority.

And before anyone says, “What if that was your daughter?” I’d like to think my kid wouldn’t disrupt the class, and ignore authority figures.  If she did, she should expect a similar reaction and even worse when her father got hold of her.

But then again, maybe there is no father in her home.

America in Decline

.
America was built upon long standing beliefs that value the sanctity Christian morals entrenched in the religion for centuries.  But all that is about to change forever.

Now it might shock you to hear that the church is counter cultural.  Always has been, and always should be.  That was the way it was designed.  So you might ask, "How can that be?"  So, here is the straight forward answer to that.

You see, culture has always been imperfect, so Jesus created the Church to give His followers a path to enduring peace and eternal life.

Now don't run away so fast now.  The post is not intended to pound my morals in your face.  It is merely intended to explain why I believe the American way (at least as the majority of us know it) is in such rapid decline.  And it should also be noted that my opinions are learned from personal experiences, and together with other article published by a variety of backgrounds and beliefs.

So, now that you understand why the church was created, perhaps you can better understand my take on things.

The Church was created for, and must shape culture because the culture is imperfect.  The Church should not change with the culture, but stand fast in it's ways.  The traditional Church has greater strength than one that flows with one that flows with the changes in culture.

The Church must also make it clear what it's teachings are by it's words and actions.  And in doing so, the Church should welcome everyone by being open to all, but the Church should the impression that it condones any sin of the congregation in attendance.

As an example, if someone who enters a Church that believes Marriage can be between only one male and one female, that Church should bear no obligation to change in order to accept that follower.  And there are many more of these challenges that you might offer, but I'll always stand fast with the teachings of the traditional church.

That said, it is uncontested that Christianity is in rapid decline in America.  But if you compare the timeline of that decline, it will reflect the same timeline of America's decline.  And I contend that it was not caused by the decline within the traditional Church, but the decline in morals and values of the traditional Americans.

Any any church that sacrifices it's culture in order to serve a greater number of followers will prove to fail.

Homeless is Priceless

.
On September 20, 2012, I published an article entitled "11 Years to Greece."  If you haven't read it, or have forgotten its content, feel free to review it as it is a direct reflection on what is about to happen in America today.

In a recent news report, the price of homelessness was discussed using data provided by various government entities.  New York City Police reported that each chronic homeless person uses over 40 Thousand Dollars of tax payer funds per year to control.  In Salt Lake City, the estimated was 20k.  All across America cities are reporting and exorbitant part of their budgets are being eaten up by providing crime enforcement, medical care, and shelter to habitual and chronic homeless people, most of which chose that lifestyle.  And I'm sure that the costs paid by the taxpayers to combat the homeless plight is similar in your city.

The news report stated that The State of Utah began a new project called "Housing First" which gives each chronic homeless person their own apartment.  Actually, the recipients are asked to pay either $50 or 30 percent of their income, but that payment is almost never collected since the homeless deny that they receive any income.  The report concluded that ---Presto---- the homeless plight in Utah was decreased immediately by a whopping 91 Percent, and cited it as a solution to the epidemic of chronic homelessness across America!!  What else could this Lefty reporter conclude?  Anyone d be a fool to not accept a free home wouldn't they?

Now, isn't that exactly what just happened in Greece where for 50 years, almost no one works, and those that do work for the government?  And as the people in Greece riot in the streets, demanding austerity, some in America seem to think that is the way.  Like the report's Democratic Leftist Author, Ryan Cooper, of MSNBC.

Seems like that is just what is happening now in America, wouldn't you say?  While it appears it could actually be cheaper to give the homeless homes when compared to the policing and medical costs the homeless create, it certainly is not the magical cure Cooper claims it is.

I Was a Police Officer

.
I'm not sure of who authored this.  I found it browsing cop blogs.

I Was A Police Officer

Today, I will not answer the radio call that your boyfriend has come home
drunk and is beating you again.

Today I will not answer the radio call that your 16 year old daughter, who
is very responsible, is four hours late coming home from school.

Today I will not answer the radio call that your store has been robbed or
your house has been burglarized.

Today I will not stop a drunk driver from killing someone. I will not catch
a rapist or a murderer or a car thief.

Today I will not answer the radio call that a man has a gun or tried to
abduct a child or that someone has been stabbed or has been in a terrible
accident.

Today I will not save your child that you locked in a car or the child you
were too busy to watch who went outside and fell into the swimming pool, but
that I revived. No, today I will not do that.

Why?

Today, I was suspended from duty for doing my job, because the media,
liberals, a community organizer, a lawyer who formally represented
terrorists and is the US attorney general and a mayor who ran on an
anti-police agenda, who are all advised by a drug dealer, liar and income
tax cheat. AND, all who know nothing about Policing, have vilified my
profession.

Because -

Today I was killed by a drunk driver while I was helping push a disabled car
off the highway.

Today I was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop to simply tell
someone that they had a taillight out.

Today I was killed in a traffic accident rushing to help a citizen.

Today I was shot and killed serving a warrant on a known drug dealer.

Today I was killed by a man when I came by to do a welfare check because his
family was too busy.

Today I was killed trying to stop a bank robbery or a grocery store robbery.
Today I was killed doing my job.

A chaplain and an officer will go to a house and tell a mom and dad or a
wife or husband or a child that their son or daughter or husband or wife or
father or mother won't be coming home today. The flags at many police
stations were flown at half-mast today but most people won't know why. There
will be a funeral and my fellow officers will come, a twenty-one-gun salute
will be given, and taps will be played as I am laid to rest. My name will be
put on a plaque, on a wall, in a building, in a city somewhere. A folded
flag will be placed on a mantel or a bookcase in a home somewhere and a
family will mourn.

There will be no cries for justice. There will be no riots in the streets.
There will be no officers marching, screaming "No justice, no peace." No
citizens will scream that something must be done. No windows will be
smashed, no cars burned, no stones thrown, no names called. Only someone
crying themselves to sleep tonight will be the only sign that I was cared
about.

I was a police officer.

It is Not

.
It was Not a peaceful protest.  But it was a Riot.  Our Constitution allows anyone to assemble and speak freely.  The law does not allow the blocking of traffic, or obstructing a sidewalk, or destroying public or private property, or assaulting anyone.  So, last nights burning of Baltimore was a riot,  It was never intended to peaceful.  That was evidenced when a pile of rocks and blocks not native to the area mysteriously showed up and were hurled at the cops.  Those rock were brought in to assault the police.

It was not about Race, But it was racist. Black racism.  That was evidenced because they used the trump card to incite the riot accusing the cops of killing yet another innocent Black, yet the cops were also Black.  The Black Mayor admitted she allowed and encouraged the rioters to damage the city, claiming that was necessary to cause change.

He does not unite.  But He is a radical racist himself and does divide.  Obama injected himself into yet another incident involving a Black.  It was no surprise to see a repeat of His past where he sided with the Black while condemning the cop.  Surely you remember his role in supporting his Black professor, over a White cop responding to a break in.  If not, maybe you recall his role in Trayvon Martin, the St. Louis incident, or the NYPD incident.  Maybe you even recall his association with other Black racists, like his preacher, or Al Sharpton.

It was Not about the lack of opportunities for Blacks.  It is about a generation of Blacks demanding something for nothing.  As one Black, masked and dressed like a Muslim terrorist, stated on TV, "I want what you all have, and I'm going to take it,"  It's about generations of welfare and handouts causing little motivation to get a job and become productive.  Yet, this country wants to give them more.  It's not about a lack of education as some claim.  School is free, yet they drop out at age 14 to sell dope, and rape, rob or take whatever they can.  They can only desire to be a Rap music or sports star.  And if they can't they pray on others and ultimately die or end up in prisons.  And it is about the lack of active and effective parenting.

It's not about Blacks getting assaulted.  It is about cops getting assaulted.  Everyone in our country has a right to defend himself against unlawful aggression.  Yes, even the cops.  Yet they are expected to stand down.  And No One should be expected to defend themselves with only their shields against rocks the size of potatoes.

Not in my world.  In my world, someone would have been shot.  And it would not be me.

Growing

.
Married at 16 changed my life.  With a baby on the way, I had to change.  No longer could I hang with my friends, play high school football, or go to cruise the boulevard on Friday nights.  But that was the life that I chose.  I accepted that and soon came to love it.

We filled our home with used furniture and hand-me-down clothing.  Sears was the only business to take the risk of granting us a revolving credit program and to this day, I'm still very loyal to them. We bought at B&W portable TV and paid it off within 6 months, establishing a worthiness credit history. Outstanding credit became a major tool for success.

Seemed like I always had a job, and sometimes two.  Our firstborn came sooner that I ever thought.  Her water broke during the wee hours one morning, As she stood draining in the shower, I reviewed the pamphlet given by her doctor before realizing it was time to head to the hospital, a usual 20 minute drive that I made in 15. And 35 minutes after we arrived, I was a father. Whew!
Not being able to afford the usual 3-day stay, I obtained a release them the following morning.

My family was the pride of my life and were the only ones that I ever felt an alliance with.  We played alone and prayed alone, and we matured together, alone.  A high school equivalency degree (GED), opened some doors to better jobs.  And soon I became the youngest foreman at a local aircraft manufacturing company.  And with those medical benefits, and the purchase of a new house, our daughter's sister was born.
.
And we were climbing.

Obstructions

.
She wore green at our wedding that winter day in 1969.  It was a simple church ceremony, with only my immediate family and a high school classmate as a best man.  Seems either no one else was invited, or they didn't care to attend; giving clue to the obstacles that I was about to encounter.  Then off to Knott's Berry Farm for a honeymoon with the $50 I had saved from my dish washing job. There, at a show, a very smart horse was able to tell the crowd how long we had been married.  Never quite figured out how.  Maybe my smiling face and that green dress were clues.

Monday morning, while at baseball practice, I was summoned to the school office and was advised that since I was an emancipated adult, I could no longer attend the school, but was offered an enrollment at the continuation school.  Needless to say, that didn't work for me because I couldn't see myself associating with "those" kind of students.  Actually I was one of those kind to many, but never realized it.

After school, I arrived a bit early for work knowing that I would have new tax forms to complete reporting my filing class.  Turned out I didn't need to because I had been fired.  I recall the owner strongly encouraging me not to get married, but I never dreamed that he would fire me over it.

She wore that same green dress to church that next Sunday.  The entrance to the very small church was blocked by three senior ladies with their arms locked together.  One was sobbing as another informed us that we were no longer welcome to attend.  Seemed odd that could happen at a church where my father-in-law was a Deacon.  We brushed past them and spent our last service at that church.   Should have not surprised me as he was not at our wedding either.  But it certainly was a clue as to the obstructions we were about to face.

It was easy for an unskilled worker like myself to find a job back then as most my age were off to Vietnam.  And I made the most of that by usually working at least two.  From washing dishes, to pumping gas, to picking up trash at a construction site, I worked hard where ever I could to work hard to pay the upcoming medical bills.  My new wife just graduated from job training and landed her first job.  Together we managed to pay the rent of our tiny duplex as I refused to accept any help from anyone.

The Return

.
My time in Germany was wonderful.  But I had become a loner. My siblings were younger, my parents were older, and I never had the chance to establish good friends at school because the school itself was far distant which prevented most after school activities.

But once stateside, things changed.  Friends would gather and listen to my stories abroad and I soon found that I was a cut above them in maturity, and a grade level or two ahead in the California high school that I attended.  And I was the leader of my pack.

Sports, cars, and girls soon became my passion.  But soon, wrestling, baseball, and football gave way to cars, and cars gave way to girls.  Older girls which seemed to be closer to my maturity.  And that seemed to be the case well into my future.

Probably unlike most kids my age, I planned for the future.  Pop was nearing his retirement from the Army and I soon realized that civil service was my ticket, since I could get a blue collar job with minimal education.  And at any given opportunity, I would talk with government workers about their benefits, and such.

At age 16, I realized that I would soon be a father.  What a shocker.  To me, to my parents, to her, to her parents, and everyone else it seemed.  It seemed there was no one who offered any word of encouragement or support for a marriage, not even the gal that was to become my wife.

I always thought Pop was kind of a boozer, kind of ignorant, and kind of distant.  But he reminded me of a talk he once had with me as a child about how important it is make the world a better place, at every opportunity.  Although I never remembered that talk, it was reassuring to me that he supported any decision that I would make that fit his criteria.

So, within a few months, after court ordered emancipation hearings, and clergy counselings,  I found myself married and soon to be a father at age 17.

Train Rides and Kisses

.
It was at the height of the Cold War not long after Russia placed ballistic nuclear missiles in Cuba.   Pop was stationed at a Nike Hercules missile battery atop a mountain outside that Mainbullau town. Often he would often take me to work with him.  The missiles were stored several hundred feet below ground in a bunker.  Several elevator platforms would raise the missiles 4 at a time, to the surface where they could then be launched at Russian bombers invading Europe.  And Pop was in charge of executing the launch after receiving orders from Command.  Drills were conducted frequently and I got to watch.  How proud I was of him.

I attended Junior High and High School in Frankfurt some 70 miles or so from our house in Mainbullau.  The two hour trek each way every morning began when an Army ambulance, which Pop called a "Meat Wagon" would arrive at our house 2 hours before school.  The Meat Wagon made several runs a day down the mountain to Headquarters and back. I'd ride in the back seated on a wooden bench down the winding road 20 miles to a train station where I was dropped off.  I'd then ride the train for about an hour into Frankfurt where another Meat Wagon picked me up and took me to the school on the military base.  The sequence repeated on the return trip.  The routine continued through out the school year making it a 12 hour day for me.

Weekends and summer vacations were special.  When not sightseeing castles with Mom and Pop,  I spent most of the time on the mountain, and most of the time with Inge.  And I liked that.  In time I picked up her lingo and share mine with her.  We laughed and took hikes into the forest.  Inge was a few years older than I and was the daughter of the biggest and most successful farmer in town.

Mom cautioned me about Inge because she was from a higher class than I.  And she was likely wealthy and would soon go off to college in a year or two.  In Those Days, general education in Germany ended at the 8th. grade.  Some kids would then go off to college or a trade school, but most I think, would stay at home and work the farm.

At times while alone I would sing "Down in the Boon Docks," a 60's Billy Joe Royal tune about a poor boy from the other side of the tracks yearning for the rich girl across town, which he knew would never happen.  And I knew that Inge and I could never be.

I kept a diary as I think most kids did back then.  As the time approached that I presumed would be the end of our relationship, we were returning from a walk in the forest, when I asked Inge to make an entry in the book.  Following her short note, she signed it with a kiss leaving a light lipstick smear on the page and closed the book before returning it to me.  Although we never discussed it, I think we both knew our relationship would end, and I knew it just had.

And then I kissed her.

Inge

.
In Those Days, Germany was far different from any other place I had been.  And living on that mountain, on a farm very isolated from any recognizable city probably probably magnified the shock of being there that I had.

Our farmhouse was a tine 2 bedroom-1 bath.  It had running water, but only the bath had hot water.  So Mom would keep a kettle of water on the wood burning kitchen stove for dishes and stuff.  A wood burning hot water heater was mounted on the wall above the bath tub that allowed an occasional hot bath after building the fire with in and waiting for it to heat.  And soon, I was designated as the boiler man.

Dad bought 50's VW, and after about two months realized it had a 4-speed transmission and it could actually go faster than the 35 mph he was able to achieve in third.  And at 13 he taught me how to drive.

Soon after the farmer let me drive his tractor to pull a wagon through the field to load hay.  He showed me how to deliver a calf, and I watched him butcher a pig.  I really liked working the farm and trying to pick up the language from the farmer.  He had no children, but I though his wife was very pretty and dressed simply in her Amish looking attire.

When not with the farmer, I was alone.  I spent most of that summer exploring that mountain.  Mom got me a .22 caliber rifle and I took it with me as often as I could deep into the woods.  Every so often, I'd discover someone initials carved into a tree.  Unable to read German, I presumed they were love notes because they were often enclosed by a heart.  And I wondered what love would be like.

Near the center of Mainbullau was a church with a pond in front of it.  One day as I was sitting alone near the pond watching the reflection of the church in the water, a group of girls walked by.  Some were giggling.

It was then that I met Inge.  She approached me and tried to initiate a conversation, but I told her I didn't speak German.  She continued to converse in broken English which really surprised me.  Her friends stood by while we chatted a while.  She was even prettier than the Paula Brown I left back in Brooklyn 6 months earlier.  And I came to like her.

Ahoy!

.
In the Spring following JFK's murder, Pop informed us that he was being transferred to Germany and that we were going with him.

I knew the routine.  I had moved many times before.  Usually it was every three years, but we often lived in several different places during each of his assignments. Seems it took a try or two before he found the perfect place for the family.

Saying goodbye to my friends was difficult to say the least.  And perhaps that was a reason that I really didn't allow myself to have close friends; a trait that I still have today.  But knowing that I'd probably never see Paula Brown again brought tears.  Not Paula, but for me.  You see Paula never knew that I was in love with her.  She was a dream girl to me.  Very light complected, a petite build, and beautiful hair cut short, just before the ears into a Dutch Girl style.  She was so different than any I had ever met.  Seems all of my family were dark complected, a bit thick, and a health stature. The typical military family in Those Days.

The Army was great about moving us.  A private contractor would come to the house, help Mom pack, and then take it all away in a big truck never to be seen again until they came again at our new place.  Pop took the '61 Chevy station wagon somewhere, and then it magically appeared at our destination.

When all the things were packed and all the goodbyes over, we left New York Harbor on a troop carrier, passing the Statue of Liberty before entering the Atlantic.  The ship was kind of like the cruise ships of today, but nowhere near as big or as nice.  Soldiers were housed depending on rank, from the lowest outside on the deck in tents, to the more privileged with families to inside cabins The most elite had access to  State Rooms, Dining halls, and some entertainment. Kids, such as me, were basically assigned to quarters, but we did manage to get on deck for brief periods.

I think it was about a ten day sail to the Port of Bremerhaven, Germany, about 80 miles from Frankfurt.  And Pop, having an assignment in Air Defense was stationed atop a mountain in a town called Mainbullau.  We lived in a rented farmhouse, on a working farm, right next door to the farmer.

While Pop worked and Mom cooked, I hung out with the farmer.  There were less than a dozen families in town, and I began learn German.

And then I met Inge.....

Pride - Integrity - Guts

.
It was in Those Days that my bicycle was stolen.  A red 3-speed Schwinn, and I was the first one in my family to ever have gotten a brand new bike.  It was so tall that I could barely ride it.  I loved it and oiled the crank and wheel hubs regularly.

I ran what must have been several miles home to tell my mother about my bike.  As we drove the neighborhood talking to the store clerk and anyone else whom would talk, it began to set in that I would never see that beautiful thing I got as a gift for my birthday.  And I knew I would never get another one soon.

It wasn't long after we returned home that Mom found me hiding under my bed, crying.  She coaxed me out, sat me on her lap, and we cried together.  It wasn't long before she shook me a bit, told me to stop crying (although she kept on), and made me stand before her.

And she told me to have Pride.  To be proud.  That proud people never cried for themselves because they could overcome any setback.  She promised that I would recover from any sorrow that could ever happen to me, but that was not so for the suffering others might have.  My Mom was crying only for me.  And I knew she had Pride.

And she told me to have Integrity.  To be honest, to speak the truth, and do the right thing - always.

And she told be to have Guts.  To have the courage to defend the innocent and condemn the guilty. To mean what I said and make good on any promise I might make.  And to admit my wrongs, and correct my mistakes.

Pretty heavy stuff for a boy of ten.  And who would have known that I would encounter those same three words, over a decade later, and in a much different world.  And they stood in my mind as vivid as when that day I first heard them.

Pig.

Bottles and Ethics

.
In Those Days, we lived in military housing sandwiched between Coney Island and Sheepshead Bay, NY.  At 10, I found it strange because it was a far cry from the small rural towns of Colonial America that I was accustomed to.  Once away from the military reservation, I was amazed at the concentration of wealthy people, who I believed were Jews.  And I quickly learned to siphon off a bit of that wealth.

It all started when I learned to collect discarded soda bottles and return them for a 2 cent deposit.  But I soon learned that the bottles refunded were stored in a cage at the rear of the store.  How easy was that?  So I climbed the short fence, took the bottles, and obtained another refund at that very store.

I loved to watch the crabbers along Sheepshead Bay.  Soon I realized that I could walk below the boardwalk at low tide. reach out and grab a line and tie it to a piling, then cut the crab cage free. A few days later I would then sell the cages to other crabbers in the area.

I'd hide beneath the boardwalk at Coney Island and watch the beach visitors to hide their purses beneath their blankets before hitting the surf.  Then I'd take their purse and remove the money before returning it to the blanket.  Sometimes I'd wait until they returned and discovered the theft.

And then it happened.  Someone stole my bike from outside Woolworth's while I was inside spending my take.  I was devastated, and cried for days before telling Mom.  Of course, not knowing that I was a thief as well, she was very sympathetic to me and promised to find a way to replace it someday.

But while waiting for that someday, my guilt grew until I confessed to Mom about the thefts I had done.  After a switching from her, and a spanking from my Dad when he got home,  And I cried, not for the punishment, but for the sorrow I felt for the people I took from.  And my life changed.

Mom took me to the grocery store and repaid my debt for the bottles.  Then she helped me make signs to post about my lost bike, and ones that we posted near the bay for the victim crabbers to contact us to make amends.  She also informed me that I could earn extra money for raking leaves, shoveling snow, and mowing lawns in the summer.

Soon I was able to pay her back for the bottle refunds she repaid, buy a rake and a snow shovel of my own, save for another bike, and buy my little sister a cheap candy at the soda shop where I returned those bottles.

And so it began for my quest to become ethical.

I taught my children what I had learned from my parents, and they passed down those stories to their children  And their children have the same ethics as their Mom and I.

End of Days

.
Growing up in a military family gave great insight to the world around me.  I recall many conversations with my parents, whom incidentally I perceived were old fogies stuck in the Dark Ages, about what the world was coming to.

Blacks struggling for equality dominated my early memories of conversations with my parents.  They worried about the violence in the South.  We'd watch on our pumpkin screen B&W TV showing the cross burnings, the protests, the marches, and the riots, which caused tears and fear on the faces of my mom and dad.  And they would say, "My God, What's our world coming too?"

Race issues seemed to give way to threats of another war, and assignations of political and religious leaders were on their minds.  Duck tails, dresses trimmed above the ankle, bell bottoms, cigarette packs carried in a T-shirt sleeve, rock stars with gyrating hips, and snipers in bell towers caused them to ask again, "My God, What's our world coming too?"  And at times, they would just surrender their fears and submit to what they believed were the coming of the end of days.

And then it was my turn.  Bell towers evolved to elementary school shootings.  Gyrating hips morphed into grabbing of crotches. Drugs, free love, and Vietnam seemed to consume my thoughts.   Israel struggled to survive, and terror appeared in Europe with the IRA.

And then it was here. On our soil.  And it shocked my world.  The Black Panthers, SLA, Bill Ayers, and Timothy McVeigh,  Serial murderers, organized crime, drug wars, and bombings terrorize our neighborhoods every day. And so enters our most recent evil, Radical Islam.  And I am afraid

And I'm sure my children have heard me say, "My God, What's our world coming too?"  And I'm sure their children will hear them say, "My God, What's our world coming too?"  And perhaps, for generations ahead, the cycle will continue.

But is it really the End of Days?  That question is not what is important.  What is important is that I know that the End of Days is coming, and that I remain alert for the sound of the Trumpet, and ready to be judged, and to be ready if called.

While it might not yet be the End of Days, it is absolutely the End of an Era for me and this blog as most of you know it.  While I'll never really give up spreading my thoughts, and encouraging others to follow my views, you will see the change in future publishings.  Perhaps you'll like it, and perhaps you'll move on to another.  Either way, thanks for listening.

And listen for the Trumpets.

Don't Bring a Knife to a Gunfight

.
Our most liberals seem to always turn against the few that are holding our country together.

This week they seek to destroy those in the military and CIA that have worked so diligently to protect us all from the shear evil we felt on 9/11.  Now that we are feeling safer, they cry about the methods that got us here.

Torture by the CIA.  What torture?  Have the Democrats forgot about the Islamic Jihadists that hijacked our airliners and flew them into our country's most sacred places killing thousands of innocent civilians?  How dare the liberals excuse Islam for the public beheading of our civilian citizens while condemning our soldiers for using torture to keep us safe?    What torture?

And this week those same liberals are protesting in our nations greatest cities over what they call Excessive Force by our police.  Excessive Force?  What about the force that Travon Martin used against the Neighborhood Watch volunteer trying to keep his community safe.  What about the excessive force that Michael Brown used against the liquor store owner as he robbed him of a box of cigars?  Or the force that Brown used while he pushed the cop into his car and beat him nearly into unconsciousness?  Or the latest idiot in NYC that used his 350 pounds of blubber to resist an arrest?

Both of these idiots have been takers all of their lives and have been accustomed to living like animals by doing whatever it takes to get what they want.  It's a cycle that began at birth and allowed to continue by their fatherless-parent households where their mentors are doing the very things that got them killed.

Such a shame, but White America did not cause this insanity, either in our homeland or overseas. But rather, it is White America that keeps our sanity.

So had these idiots respected our peaceful way of life like the vast majority of us all, they would be alive today.  And had our liberals done the right thing instead of hiding in their closets shouting obscenities from behind closed doors, America would not feel the weakness we have today.

It's that thin line that holds our society together.  Cherish it.  Don't destroy it.

How Fun is (or isn't) That?

.
I know that most of you are in some way, in some sport, a fan.  But if not, I think you can understand my point in this post.

I remember that as a kid, my Dad took me to Shea Stadium to watch baseball.  Later, I made a pretty good habit to take my family to Dodger Stadium, and the Rose Bowl,  Later, I attended the summer games during the LA Olympics, football and dirt track racing at the L.A. Colosseum, and horse racing at Santa Anita and auto racing in Pomona, CA.  And all were Fun Times.

But today, these events seem different to me.  Some I continue to attend at the venue, while others I watch on TV at home, or with friends at their house or in a public setting. And for the most part, the atmosphere is the same.

Noe days it seems fans arrive  prior to game for tailgating parties dressed in bizarre ways from ridiculous make up, to bizarre wigs and clothing (or lack of clothing.)  For many, theses fan leave home with the intention of acting like a fool, getting drunk, or provoking a fight with opposing fans.  And once at the venue they do exactly that.  For hours, the suds flow freely, conduct grows increasingly obscene, and tensions grow.

A few days ago, my wife and I visited Levi Stadium near San Francisco to see  a college football conference championship game.  What a thrill it was for us to see a live game of that caliber.  Kind of equivalent to seeing a divisional playoff at Dodge stadium, I guess.

The first clue that things were going to be different for us came as we were leaving the motel for the game.  We noticed a group of guys dressed in their quacky game attire enter a van in the parking lot. The driver blew into a breathalizer tube connected to the ignition to get it to start while the others in the van were guzzling beer as if there were no tomorrow.

Then a $35 parking fee gave access to the tailgaters.  Making our way through the drunken crowds, we reached the entrance to the stadium.  Following a TSA style search, were were rejected and forced to return to our car to off load 2 bottled waters, and my wife's purse as only clear carrying bags were allowed.  But eventually were made it inside and found our seats.

Soon we realized the era of visiting a ball park with your family, having a great time with tickets, food and drink for under $100 are over.  Beyond our travel, and inflated lodging and ticketing expenses came the reality of $12 draft beer, $5 bottled water (8oz.) restaurants for backyard bbq style food.

As the game progressed, the fans became drank even more and grew increasingly obnoxious. Screams of "Kill him!" were routine during tackles.  No one remained, so the stadium,s big screen was my only way to see most of the games.  Fans screamed so loudly that the noise pierced through the Harley Davidson ear plugs I wore.  Tensions rose between opposing fans and fights began.  And soon the thrilling experience I expected to enjoy was gone.

I guess I can only blame the change of American culture throughout our country for what happened there, that day.  Like places elsewhere in the world were will soon be lynching referees over a disputed calls.  We already have fans being murdered by other fans, and football players trying to hurt one another severely.

So are we headed thee?  No me.  Because I'll watch the game on TV.  How fun is that!  Go Ducks!!

Who really killed Michael Brown?

.

Ok, I know that I’m about to be called a racist by most of you.  But nothing could be further from the truth because what I know is based upon my personal experiences during the 33 years I’ve served in a big-city police department.  My career began with 9 months of vigorous academy training, then another six months of assignments with a veteran training officer.  Then it was time as a patrol officer and times as a training officer, detective and vice assignments before spending the last six years investigating fellow officers of all ranks accused of misconduct.

So, you can conclude I've seen it all.  The good, the bad and the ugly.  Traffic accidents, homicides, robberies, rapes, child, spousal, and elder abuse, riots, bombings, natural disasters, dignitary protection, gambling, narcotics, and police corruption.  I’ve Been There – Done That.  I’ve testified as an expert witness in crime scene reconstruction, and introduced evidence that both exonerated and convicted the accused, including police officers accused of crimes.

Why all this??  It’s because it shows that I base things of facts.  I offer few opinions that are not fact based and when I do, I’ll preface my response with stating, “I think, but I’m really not sure.”

But this is what I’m sure of. . . . The killing of Michael Brown was not motivated by race.  Rather that Michael Brown was a product of failing American culture.  Michel Brown and millions before him were given many opportunities to succeed.  Through the likes of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action, our government has given minorities education and job opportunity, financial assistance, welfare, healthcare, and other incentives not available to the rest of Americans.  Yet these programs have led to a decline in the building of successful minority citizens.

The traditional American families, especially in the inner cities, no longer have two parents in the home, and in most cases the child had no idea who his father is.  The child is raised on handouts, and has no interest in becoming a productive working person (outside of sports, music or drug dealing), and no will to remove himself from that environment.  He, without any family structure survive merely on thievery, intimidation, or violence to fill his needs.  He blames everyone but himself and screams cries of racism, blaming everyone but himself for his woes.  And the cycle continues.

Michael Brown’s killing was a tragedy.  A tragedy felt by everyone.  But the real tragedy was the lack of any apparent morality that should have been taught to him by his parents.  The tragedy was not race based, but caused by Brown’s own sense that he could do anything he wants without remorse.  He used his size and appearance to his advantage when he walked into that liquor store to rob the owner of a box of cigars.  He believed that it was his given right and that he would challenge anyone’s authority to stop him.

That led to his assault on the cop that was merely doing his job.  The cop merely pulled the trigger that saved his life, but  Michael Brown caused his own death.

Michael Brown fell victim to the teachings, tolerances and attitudes, which have been building since the days of Rosa Parks and Caesar Chavez.  And Michael Brown died because of it.  And so will many more.

Raped

.
Webster's Dictionary defines Rape in one sense as:  to plunder (a place); despoil, or to seize, take, or carry off by force.

This blog reflects that I've been writing about President Obama for the past 8 years.  And over that time, many readers left because they felt I was just just a Right Wing conservative having no love for the Leftists.  While that is true, I've never lied to justify my views.  But interesting enough, the blog history reflects that many of those that left are now returning.  It must be that they were able to pull their heads from the sand and are now realizing Obama for the devil that he is.

Obama has raped America during his reign, and most of you (since most Americans elected him) let him do it.

So think about it for a moment.  Has Obama ever told the truth?  Prior to his election, he refused to disclose his birth certificate, Produce cursory financial records to establish how such a poor sheep herder in a 3rd world country came to America and obtained a Harvard education.  He once announced that he was a Christian and a follower of the radical, Anti American, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, but later disassociated himself from him.  He denied being a friend of William Ayers, the convicted terrorist, yet reversed himself when records reflected Obama was at an election fund raising dinner at Ayers' Chicago home.

And after you elected Obama, he continued his deceit to this very day.  How about, "If you like your doctor" and Obama care will lower health costs for every one.."  Or, "I first heard about Benghazi when it was reported in the news."  How about more recently, "Jonathan Gruber had no role in Obama care."  Yet he was paid millions as a consultant and had met in the White House with the devil several times.  You see, Obama could never have convinced even the dumbest of you, that his health care plan was great, with out lying about it.

Obama was quick to remove our Missile Defense system from our strongest ally in the area, Turkey, as he kissed the but of Russia.  He prematurely pulled our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan against the advice of all military advisers.  He promised never to return to those lands militarily, yet he has.  He ignored cries for help from freedom fighters in Syria, Egypt, Libya, and Ukraine, yet now he is doing as little as possible for them.

He refused to strengthen our own border allowing millions of unskilled people and children to flow across.  Now, against the will of most Americans, intends to give them amnesty.  Against the will of the people, he refuses to allow oil development.  And repeatedly used branches of our government to impose his will.  He has misused his authority with the DHS, IRS, NSA, and DOJ, while denying his involvement the entire time.  And most recently the devil has used the EPA to declare millions of acres across the oil and coal fields as endangered habitats of the sage grouse, thus closing the area to development of those resources.

I am an American and I presume most of you are too.  I have been Raped by Obama, and so have you whether you know it or not.  But together (especially those that are returning to the blog) can defeat this devil, or at least limit his remaining term from the further destruction of American values.

Glory Hallelujah

.
Happy days are here Again.  The skies above are clear again.  So let's sing a song of cheer again. Happy Days are here Again!!

Well, almost.  Much was accomplished during the recent mid-term elects.  A return to a Republican controlled Congress, and the ouster of some very worthless politicians from both parties.

But along with that, Marijuana laws were dispensed with in my state.  So now I can stay One Toke Over the Line, if I so choose.  I can grow it, bake brownies and make Gummy Bears and tea out of it.  I can possess it, sell it, buy it and grow it with out fear of arrest from the local cops.  But, don't laugh too soon at Oregon, as I'm sure it will spread to wherever you call home.

Maybe it's California where you overwhelmingly gave support to the dope smoker himself, Gerry Brown, and then filled the local legislative seats throughout the state with even more liberals that do stuff like placing a tax on sugar products.  They would have to pry my hands off the Gobs of Bon-Bons that I have stored in hiding if I lived there!.

Well, congrats to all our you for voting however.  It has been reported to be the largest turnout in recent history, and that's a good thing.  Because if that continues, even more crappy politicians will be ousted in the next election.

In the meantime, I'm just curious just how much more division Obama will cause in his last two years.

Reason

.
So, just what is Reason?  Is it judgement?  Or common sense.  Perhaps Logic?

The dictionary defines it as " the mental powers concerned with forming conclusions, judgments, or inferences," "sound judgment; good sense," "normal or sound powers of mind; sanity," and "logic. a premise of an argument.

Perhaps, but I think it goes much further.  I believe we all have reason within us.  It's given to us at birth.  So even the youngest infant has the basics of reason.  The ability to know Right from Wrong, Good from Evil, and Sane versus Insane

Well, I believe in God and know that the Holy Ghost is within me.  He controls Reason, but has a never ending battle with the devil to preserve it.  And that Reason is based upon the instructions of God given directly to Moses, which I know as the Ten Commandments.  But, at risk of losing some of my followers, I'll stop referencing my faith, but continue on about Reason as we all have it whether we admit it or not.

So what is the root of all evil.  Some say sex, others money, while greed, power and lust all all in the running.  And when Reason is abandoned, it strikes the sole of what living is all about.  We then are able to justify or accept lies, murder, rape, theft, illicit sex, drunkenness, suicide, drugs, greed, and every one of the things that is tearing this World apart.

Now, as we set off to the polls today, I know I should have blogged this subject earlier.  But hopefully I'll catch some of you before you punch that ticket.  So, before you do, remember this:

NO SHEPHERD WANTS THEIR SHEEP TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES.

They want you to believe everything they say is the truth.  But use your own God given ability to Reason and vote your gut feeling if need be.  If what they campaign on seems far fetched it is.  If their background and history don't support their promises, they must be lies.  If their personal conduct does not meet your standards Reason, don't punch their ticket.  Or if they've been in office so long that they no longer care vote them out.

And......Never Forget.... " If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor."

Vote smart using your God-given ability to reason.

Read and Weap

.
In the year:

732:  The Muslim Army which was moving on Paris was defeated and turned back at Tours, France, by Charles Martell.

1571: The Muslim Army/ Navy was defeated by the Italians and Austrians as they tried to cross the Mediterranean to attack southern Europe in the Battle of Lepanto.

1683: The Turkish Muslim Army, attacking Eastern Europe, was finally defeated in the Battle of Vienna by German and Polish Christian Armies.

1783: When the British Colonies that would become the United States of America gained independence from Great Britain, 5 Muslim countries of North Africa declared war on the newly independent country, hijacking and kidnapping merchant sailors and selling them for ransom, or into slavery.

1805: Following their independence from England, the United States was forced to pay extortion fees amounting to 20 – 25% of our federal budget to those Muslim countries to keep them from their hijacking and kidnapping.. It took two administrations, Washington and Adams, to build a sufficient Navy so that President Jefferson, in 1805, could send the Navy and Marines to conquer Tripoli and end the piracy. Islam has been at war with the USA since our founding.

Reflect back a moment to more recent times.  Do you remember that:

1968, Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim male.
1972 at the Munich Olympics, athletes were kidnapped and massacred by Muslim males.
1972 Pan Am 747 was diverted to Cairo where it was blown up after landing by Muslim males.
1973 Pan Am 707 with 33 people killed, when it was attacked with grenades by Muslim males.
1979 the US embassy in Iran was taken over by Muslim males.
1980's a number of Americans were kidnapped in Lebanon by Muslim males.
1983 the US Marine barracks in Beirut was blown up by Muslim males.
1985 the cruise ship Achille Lauro was hijacked and a 70 year old American passenger was murdered and thrown overboard in his wheelchair by Muslim males.
1985 TWA flight 847 was hijacked at Athens , and a US Navy was murdered by Muslim males.
1988, Pan Am Flight 103 was bombed by Muslim males.
1993 the World Trade Center was bombed the first time by Muslim males.
1998, the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim males.
9/11/01 four airliners were hijacked and thousands of people were killed by Muslim males.
2002 the United States fought a war in Afghanistan against Muslim males.
2002 reporter Daniel Pearl was kidnapped and beheaded by a Muslim male.
2013  Boston Marathon Bombing, 4 people and were killed and 264 injured by Muslim males.
2014 thousands of Christian men, women, and children are slaughtered, defiled, and beheaded by Muslim males.

Yet President Obama insists that Islam is a peaceful religion.

To Hell in a Handbasket

.
So why is it that most of you (the ones out there that voted for Obama) are now turning against him?

Is it because that you realized that his only prior leadership skill came when he was a Neighborhood Organizer in South Chicago and that his few month term as an Illinois Senator was insufficient?  Or could it be that he lied and refused to release a valid birth certificate?  Or perhaps his ties to the convicted terrorist Bill Ayers, and his radical Black preacher who denounced America for its blame on 911.  Maybe his refusal to wear an American flag on his lapel or not knowing how to salute a soldier.

Or was it because of his radical wife's admission that she only loved America after Obama's election. Or the fact that Michelle's only accomplishment was to disrupt the school lunch programs?

Was it the fact that Obama built his cabinet upon incompetents like Hilary, Janet Napoltano, Lois Lerner, and racists like Eric Holder?  Maybe it was Obama's apologies to the Muslim world for their past mistreatment by America.  Perhaps it was the Affordable Care Act, and the lies that Obama fed us about how we would keep our plans and our doctors, while lowering our premiums.

Maybe it was because he withdrew our forces from Iraq causing it to fall to ISIS within months.  Or his refusal to intervene in Syria.  Or was it that he removed our Missile Defense System from Turkey to appease Putin?  Did you loose faith in Obama for making concessions with Iran and relaxing tough sanctions put in place for sever decades ago by other more competent presidents?

How did Obama's interventions affect you when he sided against the White cop in Cambridge to favor his Black friend college professor.  Or was it because he injected himself into defending that Black teen, Trayvon, that tried to kill the Neighborhood Watch guy; an event that even the DOJ refused to prosecute.  Or was it the more recent incidents in the St. Louis area?  Did they convince you that Obama was the radical Black that I suspected?  Maybe it was Obama's denial that the Fort Hood Massacre, or the more recent beheading were merely acts of workplace violence.

Was it Obama's lies and cover ups in the Fast and Furious, IRS, DHS, Secret Service, and Benghazi issues.   Or is it more about his refusal to enforce our borders or stop travel from Ebola infected countries.

Could it be Obama's tax policies, and lack of corporate growth since he took office?  How about his stance against coal and other fossil fuel in America?  Or his overwhelming support for the wind and solar industry failure?  Maybe it is the increase in food prices because of the competition for corn to make ethanol.

So what ever it is, is any of this enough to remove your support for the Obama administration?  Today's poll shows nearly two thirds of you have had their fill of him.  If you are still one of the few in denial, please comment.

And - Vote Accordingly.

Hammer and Nail

.
Recently I was participating in a group discussion when the leader asked "When was the last time you were angry?  Several silent minutes passed before the first person offered that anger only a state of mind which he/she refuses to allow to occur.  Another person stated that he/she is never angry.  And yet another said that he/she does not worry about things outside their control.

I have to admit that I was shocked, but I also knew the group was comprised of mostly liberal minded, loving, and spiritual people.  As an ultra conservative, I felt the need to speak out as I told the group that I was very angry with many things and carefully chose the topics to speak out against, just as often speak out about supporting issues that I believe in.

You see there are a variety of issues were face every day in America that are neither liberal or conservative  Issues like Islamic terror, drug abuse, gay marriage and the right to life.  And I take every opportunity to voice my opinion.  Because I believe that if you don't speak out - then either you support the issue - or - you are a coward.  And most of the time it's the latter.

You know, I know I didn't convince everyone at that meeting that speaking out is the proper thing to do, but that was not my intention.  My goal was simply to bring awareness of my views and perhaps be able to convince only a few of my views.  And I knew that they would then continue to spread my views, which became their views, at other forums.

We must speak out about the issues facing life in America.  Not so much about my life, but of our children and their children.

In closing today, I say that there are only two types of people in this country,  Hammers and Nails. So which type are you?

Remembering the KKK

.
For those of you that can remember the radical 60"s in America, you surely remember the KKK and although they are still here today, they are no longer what they once were.  Here's why.

Similar to Germany's NAZI Party, The KKK first believed that only White people with an Aryan heritage were pure.  It was religious based and was created to keep their pure, pure.  As it progressed they broadened their base to include Whites of any culture with the exception of Jews.  Hidden by masks and cloaks to conceal their identities, the KKK grew in strength and began persecuting people that were believed inferior to them.  Gruesome murders, assassinations, tortures, and radical (sometimes public) ceremonies attracted more and more attention to their cause, which ultimately lead to their demise in America when true Americans rose and pressured our government into action. It was only by the public outcry that caused their demise.

Very similar, but much more radical than the Nazis or the KKK, we now see the rise of Islam around the world.  Islam, just as the KKK and Nazis believe their culture is pure and seek to destroy anyone outside their cult.

Yet this time, there is little outcry from Americans, yet they have attacked and slaughtered thousand of our people.  Our government seems to provide a haven for these murderers, while it denies many of the incidents as being motivated by Islam.

Wake up America.  The Fort Hood shooter, yelled, "Allah Ackbar" (god is great) as he gunned down tens of American soldiers right here in America, yet our Government labeled it as "workplace violence?"  More recently, an American was captured and publicly beheaded, yet our government refuse to acknowledge it was perpetrated by Islam.  And most recently, In America, a followere of Islam chopped off the head of one coworker, and attempted to kill another when they refused to convert to Islam, yet the government called it another incident of workplace violence.

Islam, by their very doctrine advocates killing anyone outside their religion.  You know neither the Nazis nor the KKK had doctrines that specific, yet it was primarily public outcry that resulted in their demise.  Australia is planning to make laws making "Preaching Hate" illegal which would cover every hate group, and in particular, Islam.  In addition they are in the process of closing their borders to Islamic immigration, even though Australia has not yet had attacks of the kind that America has, all motivated by public pressure of the government.

We can do it in America, if we just call it what it is.  Jus as the Nazis and KKK were, Islam, all of Islam is a detriment to America.  It is our greatest threat, and must be curtailed to preserve our culture.

Sound off!!!!  It is already almost too late.

Obama, Lies and Islam

.
Just why can't the liberals in this country just call things what they are?  What once were called Hobos, Vagrants, or Bums are now called Homeless or Under Privileged Citizens. Wives and husbands are now Significant Others. Illegal Aliens are now called Foreign Migrants or Refugees.
And this softer-gentler approach to public speaking is absurd.

And Obama leads the pack and last night's speech about using force in Iraq and Syria really angers me, and so it should you.

Obama began his presentation by stating that "ISIS" does not mean "Islam" as no religion promotes violence.  Although there are several interpretations about what the last two letters in ISIS mean, there is no doubt that the first two stand for "Islamic State."  And how wrong could he be to state that Islam is not violent when they murder anyone they contact that refuses to convert to Islam?  And Islams guidebook, the Quran, advocates the eradication of any non-Islam believer?

But this is not Obama's first reference to disguise (or more accurate Lie about) the truth about Islam.  Although the Fort Hood shooter yelled Allah Akbar (god is great) as he gunned our soldiers, and has since applied to be accepted into Al-Queda, Obama labeled the shooting incident as, "Workplace Violence."

Obama sides with Blacks and Muslims at his every opportunity.  I remember clearly that Obama came in the limelight in support the Black Panthers (who are Muslims) in their interference at the voting polls.

And Obama's World tour of the Arab nations were he apologized to foreign Muslim kings for America's intolerable acts of the past.

And then there was his support for his Black professor friend that was detained by the police in Cambridge.  And his public support for Trayvon Martin, another incorrigible Black.

And more recently Obama intervened again into the shooting of that Black robbery suspect by the White cop in Missouri.

Personally, I know that Obama is not stupid.  But instead he is a Racist and a continual Liar.  Nothing could be more offensive to me than Obama.

The Greasing of California

.
I was stunned this morning by a press release revealing that more than a third of those across the country that receive Welfare, live in California.

And when you add to that number, those that receive Unemployment and Disability compensation, coupled by California's fourth place nationally ranking of 7.6% unemployment, it is apparent that California is a huge drain on every American across the country.

California, much like Greece where 67% of its population does not work, is a place that has been greased by our socialist Democrats.

And even deeper the state will plunge when future candidates for office will almost certainly be Democrats who will over tax their citizens and businesses into bankruptcy.

Betty Lee, the Democratic candidate for State Controller announced in a televised campaign speech that she will seek to raise taxes statewide in an effort to replenish the accounts that have been devoured since the Democrats took control of the State.

Can you believe anyone driving their campaign with promises of tax increases?

So, you might ask why would I even care since I don't live in California?  Simple - I don't want those Greasers moving into my neighborhood when they run out of their own money.

Who are the Racists?

.
Author Unknown.

Does anyone remember Detective Melvin Santiago?  He was a Jersey City police officer, who was shot to death just a month ago, on July 13th.   Santiago was white.  His killer, Lawrence Campbell, was black.

Does anyone recall Obama appearing before national television and calling for justice for Officer Santiagos' family?  Does anyone recall Eric Holder rushing to Jersey City to see that justice was done?

How about Officer Jeffrey Westerfield.  He was a Gary, Indiana, police officer who was shot to death last month on July 6th.  Westerfield was white.  His killer, Carl LeEllis Blount, Jr. was black.  Where was Obama?  Where was Holder?

Or Officer Perry Renn?  He was an Indianapolis, Indiana, police officer who was shot to death just last month on July 5th, the day before Officer Westerfield was killed.  Officer Renn was white.  His killer, Major Davis, was black.  I don't recall any mention by Obama about the untimely death of Officer Renn.  I doubt that Eric Holder rushed to Indianapolis to make sure justice was done.  Or, maybe I just missed it.

Vermillion Parish Deputy Sheriff, Allen Bares, was gunned down by two men just last June 23rd in Louisiana.  Deputy Bares was white.  His two killers, Quintlan Richard and Baylon Taylor, were black.  Was Obama outraged?  Did Eric Holder rush to Louisiana to make sure that the family of Deputy Bares found justice?

Detective Charles Dinwiddie, of the Killeen Police Department, was murdered by Marvin Lewis Guy, a black male.  Officer Dinwiddie was white.  This happened on May 11th, just over two months ago.  I don't even recall seeing anything about that on the news.  Certainly, the white citizens in Killeen didn't take to the streets to loot and burn businesses.  Again, I don't recall any mention by Obama or Holder.

Then, there is Officer Kevin Jordan of the Griffin, Georgia Police Department.  He was gunned down just two months ago on May 31st.  Officer Jordan was black.  His killer, Michael Bowman, was white.  This was a white man murdering a black police officer.  Where was Jesse Jackson?  Where was "The Reverend"  Al Sharpton?  Was there looting and burning on the streets of Griffin, Georgia?  No.  In fact, I don't recall hearing about this one in the news, as well.  Why?  You can draw your own conclusions.

Over the past 60 days, there have been five reported deaths of police officers by gunshot in the US.  Of those, four were white officers who were murdered by black men.  Blacks complain that white officers treat black men more aggressively on the street.   You can draw your own conclusions on that one, as well.  Is there an election coming soon?  Is there an agenda here?

A Travesty

.
The following contains portions of an article was published in Los Angeles Police Protective League's blog on August 19, 2014. The author is unknown to me.

Over the last 72 hours, there have been a number of attempted murders of police officers in Los Angeles County, yet there has been no community or media outrage.

Two prime examples include an LAPD SWAT officer who was severely injured during a shootout with a suspected gunman following a pursuit in South Los Angeles. In another case, a sheriff’s deputy is facing a long recovery after undergoing surgery for life-changing injuries he suffered in an unprovoked attempted murder by an “unarmed” man already on probation for assaulting a peace officer. Witnesses said the deputy was escorting a male suspect in a mall when the suspect unexpectedly turned on the deputy and hit him several times, knocking the deputy to the ground, and continuing his assault.

We should all be should be alarmed when those whose job it is to fight crime on a daily basis are being targeted for murder. Why are there so many others become reflexively critical of police? Why do these individuals jump to the twisted conclusion that police officers’ lives are any less endangered when encountering “unarmed” suspects than when they’re staring down the barrel of a gun? Why do these same individuals assume all officer-involved shootings—while always tragic—are always “bad” shootings? These individuals are cherry-picking the facts and doing a disservice to the communities they serve.

Recently the LA Times editorial about the Ezell Ford shooting stated, “It is hard to believe that police cannot refine their encounters with unarmed citizens to avoid the use of deadly force.” In other words, according to the Times, “unarmed” residents pose no threat to officers.

The reality is that when somebody attacks a police officer, they should expect the reaction to their attack will be swift, sure and met with enough force to end the assault. LAPPL President Tyler Izen respnded by stating,  “While waiting for the facts to be determined, I feel the need to restate the obvious. When a person attempts to take an officer’s gun from them, no matter their physical or mental condition, we should expect an officer to respond accordingly to save their life—and that likely includes the use of deadly force.”

We also note with dismay that while compelled to devote numerous pages of coverage to the unfolding situation in Ferguson, Missouri, the Los Angeles Times Editorial Board cannot be stirred to write even a murmur of protest over the violence directed against police officers there. Apparently, throwing Molotov cocktail bottles, rocks, and other debris at police officers is just not worthy of their commentary. Yet, you can be sure that if a police officer were the perpetrator of equivalent violence, entire forests would be decimated to print the hand-wringing editorials from the Los Angeles Times.

If a suspect takes or attempts to take an officer’s gun by force, he has sent a clear message that he intends to murder that officer and possibly others, and must be stopped for the safety of all. Whether that aggressive suspect is under the influence of a controlled substance, alcohol, or has a mental illness, the target of his attack will be in immediate danger nonetheless. When anyone grabs for the officer’s gun, they become an armed suspect, and in most cases, predetermined the tragic outcome of events.

I must ask why there is such little outcry from the public when an officer is murdered?  And why is there little mention of police shootings of young unarmed White men.  Had the races been reversed in Missouri, there would have been no outcry.  You know, there were just over a hundred Blacks shot by police, yet there were over 5000 Blacks shot by Blacks last year alone?  Where is the respect for Blacks for one another?

I'm sure this will become yet another travesty of justice like Rodney King and Travon Martin.

"Nuff said.

Grading (perhaps de-grading) our Leader

.
I know that I previously said I would provide you with information useful in deciding how to cast your vote intelligently in our upcoming elections.  But since most primaries are over and the real elections are still distant,I thought I'd review a few things that our President has done in the past.  Some you will remember, perhaps not so with others that have seemed to fade from memories with the passing of time.

Most, I'm sure remember, "If you like your doctor  . . . .," but do you remember him denying that he knew William (Bill) Ayers (the convicted terrorist), who hosted a campaign fundraiser where the President attended?  Two lies, long ago, but I remember.

Remember the "Cash for Clunkers" program that enabled to auto dealers to sell their wares at inflated prices knowing that the buyers would agree because they were to receive the federal handout?  I'm sure many of you smart ones made the wise decision welcome that handout.  I wouldn't blame you, but who had their good job they once had?  What about the bail out of GM, and the subsequent losses to investors after the company received amnesty for their debt obligations, then re-selling their stock at grossly inflated prices?

Remember his Executive Order providing free health care to illegals, which has since been deemed an overreach of his powers by the Supreme Court?  What about him publicly calling that Cambridge cop a racist while defending his black professor friend's involvement?  Or his statements condemning the white Neighborhood Watch guy when he killed the black gangster who was assaulting him.

This morning, my Pastor used scripture to support that how a reasonable leader must surround himself with reasonable thinking people to help him make reasonable decisions.  Nothing could be worse than the cabinet members that our President has appointed.  Like Eric Holder, who has been in the limelight of nearly every action he has taken, beginning with his refusal to prosecute the Black Panthers involved in voter intimidation. Or Janet Napolitano's DHS appointment.  The only thing she accomplished was redesign the security threat sign during her reign.  DHS is still incompetent.  How about Hillary Clinton, who spearheaded the Benghazi cover up?  Lois Lerner, and Holder again in another cover up with the IRS and Fast and Furious incidents. NSA, and the list could go on and on..

His failed policies.  The agreement to remove our missile defense system from Turkey, his concessions to Iran in their nuclear development program, his refusal to intervene in the Syria or Libya collapses, his announced recall of our forces from Iraq and Afghanistan, and his reduction and lack of support for our military, have all been disasters. Health care, border security, amnesty. spreading the wealth, school lunch mandates, and his racists remarks continue to defy imagination.

Surely I could name more.  Quite frankly I can not recall a decision that the President which I can support. Obama is a Buffoon, but incredibly to me, fewer and fewer of you refuse to take an open stance against his failures.

But know this....... When nobody stands, I'll stand alone.
