Well, I’m back!! Sorry for the travel blogs for the past 4 months, but that’s what’s travelling is all about. Not to mention the time needed to stay on top of politics. Here are some tidbits that I received from some avid Followers over the past months. Thanks for sharing them with me. I’ve not verified the numbers, but they seem to make sense to me.

Detroit, MI - 32% live in poverty - 83% on welfare
Buffalo, NY - 29% live in poverty - 79% on welfare
Cincinnati, OH – 27% live in poverty - 77% on welfare
Cleveland, OH - 27% live in poverty - 76% on welfare
Miami, FL - 26% live in poverty - 74% on welfare
St. Louis, MO - 26% live in poverty - 73% on welfare
El Paso , TX - 26% live in poverty - 71% on welfare
Milwaukee, WI - 26% live in poverty - 72% on welfare
Philadelphia, PA - 25% live in poverty - 74% on welfare
Newark , NJ - 24% live in poverty - 75% on welfare

These Top Ten Cities with populations over 250,000) have something unique in common. They all have had Democrat Mayors for at least the past 24 years. Some have never elected a Republican.

The United States is 3rd in Murders throughout the World. But if you remove Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, and New Orleans, the United States has nearly lowest Murder Rate in the world. These 4 Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the United States. But it would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data.
