Forecast - RAIN

.
Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain. It's not something that most of us like to do, especially when we realize it is not going to end soon. Dismal days are here and we will be locked into the doldrums for a time to come.

It has been clear on the Central Oregon Coast for the past six weeks. Clear and sunshiny, and not a drop of rain. Don't get much better than that! So, just what am I talking about?

It really is raining but some of you don't even know why things feel wet! I'm talking about the Long Legged MacMuslim and his court. That's pretty dismal!

From the moment he appeared two years before his election, he scared the day light out of me. He was like a turtle found sunning himself on top of a fence post. Turtles can't climb, so who put him there? No one knew, and many didn't care. They only wanted a change. Hitler promised the same.

Within days of his inauguration, his popularity began to fade. The people saw him in his true form. He bows before foreign Muslim kings, and denounces the past policies of America. The same policies that built our country. He releases terrorists so they can fight us once again. De-criminalizes the other terrorist' conduct and moves their trials to a civilian court. He forces his social programs down our throats without much discussion. He raises our taxes and drives business to a stop. More entitlement programs than one could shake a stick at. Injects himself into local issues by ruling that a White cop beat his Black friend and that the Muslims have a religious right to build a mosque anywhere they want so they can continue their plans to destroy us. Who does he think he is? That answer is very scary!

Who voted for him anyway? Not many will now admit that. Perhaps my sister, or your daughter, or your father. Maybe your neighbor or even your dog and some illegal alliens. Someone lifted him to that fencepost!

You can put up your umbrella or stay inside, but it will still be raining. Close your eyes, but you will still hear it. Jump across the puddles, but your feet will still get wet. Bundle up, but it will still be cold outside. Turn on the wipers but your vision will still be blurred. The road might seem shiny and dry, but they are covered, half black, with ice just waiting to ruin you life.

"Rain, rain, won't you go away" are the words to the song that we are all singing now. And, like it always has, the rain will probably stop once again. And I hope that you will be happy.

But what will it be like by then? Although the sun shined again, it was a different world that Moses found when the rains stopped.

And, for us?
