Now days, most every youth program gives a trophy to every child that participates, whether the program is athletic, art, education, or just for fun. So, what's wrong with that?
Now days, most every school allows every student to advance a grade regardless of whether they actually learned the subject matters. So, what's wrong with that?
Now days, most everyone can graduate from high school and get a diploma simply by attending most of their classes without disrupting them. So, what's wrong with that?
Now days, a college diploma carries about the same weight for employment in civil service regardless of the college attended or the GPA. So, what's wrong with that?
Now days, most anyone has an equal chance of landing a civil service job simply by passing a pass/fail entrance exam, not by your actual score on the exam. So, what's wrong with that?
Now days, most civil service jobs from entry level to mid level management all pay nearly the same. The cop is paid the same as the fireman, teacher, nurse, bus driver or social worker. So, what's wrong with that?
Pardon me for so many civil service examples, but that is where my expertise lies. And, I believe these examples are similar to most private entities. Now you know I could cite many more examples, but I think you get my point.
This is pure socialism at it's best. And, what's wrong with that? Socialism strives to make us all the same, except for the rich kings who rule over us.
Make and keep everyone the same, and they won't complain. But they won't strive to be the best, the smartest, the strongest, the hardest working, or highest producer. So, where does that leave America?
Everyone gets a trophy. Unless you are at the Thought Dock!
