Well, the rest of those that said they were coming for Christmas are now here after arriving on a late night flight from Burbank. That rounds out the total to two infants, two toddlers, four adult parents who sometimes act like toddlers, and Granny and the Grandpa-D. Now, unless there is a surprise, and I like surprises, that will be it for Christmas.
Sunday afternoon, I saw Santa on my way up town. I hurried home to grab the kids, but that didn't work out. You see, there are other factors to consider when planning life with children. Things that I have long ago forgotten. Things like naps, lunch, dressing, etc.
Anyway, by the time we met the criteria, it was too late. No fret, I thought. Tomorrow we'd have plenty of time. But, when tomorrow came, we were saddened to learn that Santa had left town to prepare for his delivery day, and not even an Elf could be found around here! I thought just for a moment that I saw him asleep in an old red truck parked in the back of his office. Well, it could have been the old fisherman beggar just as easy. Now, I wonder whether did they are one in the same.
That sucks.

it is much easier to dress, nap, eat, etc at the same time the kids are doing it...that way everyone is on the same schedule. duh. guess i know that cause i'm a mom...not a grandma. oh yeah i know grandpa's soon forget cause they never knew it in the first place.
