Asking Snopes

.
A few days back, one of my most dearest Followers questioned whether I had verified the authenticity of photograph of the MacDaddy at a social event in Chicago several years ago posing with people he now claims were party crashers at his more recent gala.

The comment made me feel really bad that I had not first checked the rumor control website, Snopes.com, before posting the picture. But, really. I can't check everything that comes through the Thought Dock portal. And never before has the information I've gathered from what ever means, been false. But, it was shameful that such a thing could have occurred on this world wide blog.

Well, I think the comment must have hit home with others as well. So, I think Wichita M, did a Snopes search for, "The couple that sneaked into the White House without credentials." And, low and behold, looked who's picture popped up! Thanks M. Well done!

  1. sometimes it is HOW you search that brings the interesting things. for those of you that are too lazy to look,,,here is what you get when you check out the salahi's at snopes: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/photos/crashers.asp
as you can see, if you read the article, the pic was taken long before he became president...and was a photo op that JOHN McCAIN missed altogether.
now I want to know, what was JOHN doing there????? his wife should have known better than to let him out for the evening.

as for this pic,,,,,michelle is looking better all the time, don't you think?

  3. Geez Geo-the prior post reflected that the photo was taken in 2006 when Obummer was a Senator, and was taken by the Salahi's themselves, then released by them to show the world that they are friends of the MacDaddy. John is not the President, so he is not the focus of the post. Beauty is but skin deep. it's Michelle's inner radical racism that concerns me.
