.
I’ve said in many previous posts that if you know nothing else about a person, then judge him for whom his friends are. In not so many ways, if you run with snakes, then you are a snake.
It seems a very long time since the name "Obama" first came to attention for the most of us. We asked, "Who was this tall, dark, handsome man," who was making so many promises that seemed too good to be true? Few, including me, knew him but most of you failed to look at the most telling point: Who does he run with?
A Chicago Senator was my first clue. Chicago, a place where snakes are born. Chicago, a place renown for corruption, the Mafia, and union heavies, where several of it’s past leaders are in prison, and at least one more is on his way now.
And while in Chicago as a Neighborhood organizer, Obama meets up with a snake named William (Bill) Ayres. Ayers, a top fund raiser for Obama’s Presidential bid, who was the leader of the radical Weather Underground group and was also convicted and sentenced years ago in a plot to blow up federal government buildings. Ayers, a convicted Chicago slum lord sold Obama some real estate well below fair market value and hosted a fund raising dinner at his home, but Obama denied knowing him.
And there were questions about where this Obama guy was born, and how did he ever get enough money to attend an infamous east coast college, and the fact that he refused to disclose his birth certificate or financial records.
And even more concerns about Obama began to surface after his election.
Then came a snake named Rod Blagojevich who Obama passed on his Senate seat to, and then in turn tried to sell it to another snake.
And it is his political appointees like Holder, Napolitano, and many more. Every one of them were Obama fundraisers and snakes in their own like. Holder lies about his involvement in Operations Fast and Furious. And our Homeland Security Chief can only revise the color coding at airport security. What an asset she is.
So then it was Solyndra, also great snake friends of Obama, who ran off with billions of tax payer dollars leading the way for a snake called Jon Corzine who now has done the same. Corzine, an ousted New Jersey Govener, was also a top fund raiser for Obama as recently as 6 months ago, now has announced he doesn’t know where 1.2 Billion doolars of our money went although he was the CEO of MF Global when it failed. How nice it was of him not to ask for severance pay when he was fired! Hey, does anyone know what the "MF" in MF Global stood for?
And the list could go on. So, you decide. Is Obama a snake? I've decided and if you can't figure out my stance by who I run with, I'll tell you. You Bet He is!

National Christmas Tree Week
.
Let's celebrate!!
Did you know that for the first time ever in the history of America, we have set aside the first week in December to remember Christmas trees! Yes, our United States Senator from Oregon, second year Democrat, Jeff Merkly, introduced the resolution naming that time as National Christmas Tree Week, and it was unamimously passed by the entire Senate!
So, mark your calendar. We have only four more days to party. Merkley says it will honor the joy that Christmas trees bring to families everywhere each December. Go figure.
Well they are made in America (well mostly in Oregon), but will our festivities that Merkley created for us create any new jobs? Will it give peace to the millions of us that are unemployed? Will our 401K stock values return to the 2005 level> Could it effect the housing market, or make the environmentalists at ease? Maybe it will counter Global Warming.
Starting Thursday, the first full week in December will be designated as National Christmas Tree Week.
Jeff Merkley is a Bozo, and so are the rest of the clowns in the Senate that wasted our money on such a worthless issue. It is not like he is new trying to get some face time. He's been in the Oregon legaslature for four terms. But, I guess, at least the Senate accomplished something this year. After all, the've done nothing to address the real issues of America, like our growing debt.
Well anyway, as I was getting a refill at our local discount gas station, I mentioned to the attendant about it being National Christmas Tree Week and I was about to celebrate. He responded by saying he thought it was a great idea because we need more holidays, especially paid ones.
I replied, "Dude, you got to be sh-t--g me!" He got a strange look on his face as if he wanted to make me think that he was actually thinking, but I knew that was not possible.
As a side note, our 9th grandchild was born this past December 1, and she was as beatiful as any Christmas Tree I've seen. And that is cause to celebrate!

Opening Day
.
Do you realize that on Opening Day of the 2011 NFL Football season every team was tied for first place? Think about that!
The same holds true for other sports races as well. And no matter what the odds makers say, the final season's results for each team is governed by the performance of the individual team through out the season. But every team must also perform in ordered to be judged for that final standing.
Just as in a sports competition, we all are born into first place in this world. Clean, pure, and without sin. But to keep it we must perform to live our lives as it is intended. Every day, until our final day. Judgement.
There comes a time when one has to stand up. Stand up for something. Stand up and be noticed. Otherwise you are just passing through this world by living in the shadows. And that won't cut it.
The good news is that if we err in taking a stance, we can be forgiven. But just to aimlessly wander through life as if it were without meaning or purpose, is for me, unimaginable. And that is how I see many in this world.
So, stand up. Let me see you. Even if we disagree.

I once was a Democrat....
.
...Until I became a cop and saw first hand what liberal socialists were doing in Los Angeles.
In the early 70's, I saw vagrancy and public drunkenness laws stricken from the books, resulting in increases of the homeless population throughout the City.
And I saw the authority of the local cop stripped away from enforcing Illegal Alien immigration, resulting in an ever increasing flow of illegals into the City overwhelming our courts, hospitals, and welfare services.
...Until in the 1980's I saw marijuana laws reduced to an infraction, and court ordered "Diversion" programs given to major narcotic distributors, resulting in an increase of gang violence over turf, and more drug overdoses.
And I saw 10% of our police force deployed into the public schools to teach "Just Say No!" under the Dare program, which failed to lower any drug use.
And I saw California Supreme Court Judge Rose Byrd's ruling that the insertion of a pistol barrel into a rape victim's vagina did not constitute force or fear or great bodily injury, which resulted in the reduction of a prison term to the convict.
... Until in the 90's, I saw Mayor Tom Bradley publicly call his people to rise up and voice their opinion in protest of the court exoneration of cops accused of excessive force during the Rodney King arrest, which resulting in 10 days of rioting and parts of his City being burned to the ground.
And I saw our police force out gunned by bandits with body armor and fully automatic assault rifles during the North Hollywood bank robbery, which resulted in the cops being trained to fire semi-automatic pistols they then had to purchase on their own.
... Until at the turn of the century, I saw Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa impose racial profiling restrictions on the police, which resulted in the officers turning their attention to Whites committing traffic violations, which resulted in minority criminals having near free will through out the City.
And all of these policies were set into place by the liberal democrats, which has resulted in where we are at today.
And, that is why I am a conservative!

The Baby Boomer's Nightmare
.
I had a dream.
I was startled to find myself with a group of art club members assembled at a local tea shop while they were discussing the benefits of fiber in their diet.
Suddenly their conversation became jubilant when one mother raved about how proud she was of her son. Seems the son graduated from college some ten years ago and has been living at home with her ever since. Unwilling to look for employment, he would shut himself in his bedroom where he would play video games, seldom change his clothes, or shower. Many days he would never leave his room and expected that his food and drink be brought to his room.
As the mother continued her story, she realized that many others at the tea shop gathering had sons and daughters like her own. They all shared the same misery of their adult children (sometimes including their own children) living at home, consuming the parents groceries, and never contributing anything to anyone.
Their jubilancy grew as some of the art club members announced that thier children finally left home, taking nothing more than a backpack full of groceries and their bicycle, before heading off to join the local Occupy movement. Suddenly they were about to stand on their own two feet, just like President Obama and Nacy Pelosi encouraged them to do.
So proud were the mothers of the children that they quickly changed the locks on the doors!
So suddenly I awoke realizing that those worthless scumbags were now my problem.

Islamophobia?
.
There are several organized efforts by people across Europe, and more recently here in America to counter Islam. These groups claim that the teachings of Islam are incompatable with Western societies are are in fact out to take over the world. In America, they stand against any immigration into the country from Muslim countries, deporting those that are already here, stopping the construction of any new mosques, forbidding Sharia law, and holding those that violate our laws accountable.
The liberals in our government, most news media, and most of the entertaiment industry have labled these people as bigots, racists, and extremists. But are they?
Isn't it odd that those of us that stand against Nazis, bigamists, and white supemists are generally not called racists. So what's the difference here? Aren't the KKK or Nazis evil?
Islam is evil by American standards. The women have no rights, and like their children, they are beaten or mudered by the men who have the Allah given right to disicpline them in the name of Islam. In fact, the doctrine of Islam permits those followers who violate Islamic law to be killed. Compare that to the rules of Nazis or the KKK.
Islam is a very well organized group which is spreading it's influence around the world and is growing at an alarming rate. Like many other religions, the local practicers contribute money, which is then funnelled to the top leaders, who then set the direction of the religion, like acts of terrorism. Therfore, any person that practices their faith support the effors of their leaders simply by funding their cause. And the cause of Islam is to erradicate the Infidels (which you are unless you are Muslim).
Although I do not support the Catholic, Mormon, Jehova Witnesses, or Christian Scientists, and many other religious doctrines, I don't consider any one of these to be a personal threat to my safety or way of life. You see, none of them are strapping on bombs as they muder innocent people. None have ever committted mass murders like the one of 9/11, Fort Hood, or the downing of Flight 103.
OK, I admit it. I fear Islam. I fear every Muslim. I am Islamophobic. And, therefore, I stand against it. All of it. So call me a bigot or a racist, but I'll stand against anyone who threatens the American way of life, just as I stand against the Nazis or KKK.

40 Years of Sex Education
.
It seems it all began on the liberal Left Coast in the 70's. You know, with the rise of liberal, socialistic, Democrat leaders like Pelosi, Weinstein, Brown, and friends. I'm talking about government mandated, teacher supported, curriculums in our schools.
You see, it was the educators who believed that parents couldn't manage their children, so they were given the power to take over. And today, they still complain that parents aren't any more responsible.
Look at where we are today because of all these governmental mandates. Venereal Diseases, the advent of AIDS, unwed mothers galore, and birthrates for teenage children, have climbed to historic levels.
What once was exotic, taboo, and immoral sex acts are becoming the common place for elementary school children. Oral, anal, or assisted masturbation isn't even considered sex by most kids, but only a casual contact between friends. Kids, as young as 12 exchange oral sex (and I'm not talking about kissing as I knew it) and think nothing of it. Birth control is now free at the schools; something parents can no longer control. Kids are given immunizations to ward off sexually transmitted cancers. No love. No commitment. No worry. The State pays the costs.
Government mandated classes in schools introducing Gay and Lesbian lifestyles preach tolerance, yet teaching Christianity is forbidden. Drug education is no better with more addicts in today's society than ever before. Drop out rates have climbed in the primary education system, and graduates from college often produces nothing more than non-working, video game addicted, entitlement dependent idiots who just stay at home, make babies, and consume the groceries.
And most teachers are still blame parenting. Get real teach! Parents no longer have much of a say in a child's development. It has been all about what the teacher and government wanted for our kids for the past 4 decades, and they still are demanding more and more. Government has taken control of our kids, and they are being indoctrinated just as much as the children of China and North Korea.
Oh. When will we ever learn?

Reviewing Two
.
Hey, lets review two prior posts from this blog. The first, from just a few weeks ago, and the second from over two years ago (June 2009).
End of the Line: This post was attached to a poll. It was an interesting story (to me) that I thought would generatate some thought. It did not. But that's OK. Actually the reason for this blog is mostly a way for me to express myself, mostly to myself it seems. So, I'll just go on about it by myself.
It was a brief story about an ABC News report where a mother and her child were asked to exit a public transit bus because the kid was screaming and was a distraction to the driver. Remember?
Well, there are just a few things I'd like to point out. First, only ABC (at least that's the only place I saw it reported) aired the incident. ABC made the incident into a race issue and implied that the pair were only asked to get off the bus because they were Hispanic. ABC placed a video clip in their coverage that did not include sound, making it impossible to hear what exactly was said or how loud the baby was. ABC also included a printed transcript of the conversations between the driver and her dispatch. The bus company cited confidentiality issues of the driver when giving a statement to ABC, but they released the communications transcript to ABC. Where was the confidentiality of the driver then?
ABC did not mention the fact that other bus passengers were also complaining about the kid, but did interview two passengers that sided with the mother. ABC did not report that the mother left the bus voluntarily and was picked up 12 minutes later by the next bus and after the kid calmed down. ABC implied the mother was kicked off in a desolate, dark, and unsafe area.
ABC advertises "Fast, Fair, and Accurate" reporting of the news. This was anything but.
Please look at the source of the news before forming your opinions. Look deeply, and ask youself about the motives of the report regardless of where it comes from.
Who killed Michael Jackson?: Now here is a post that did generate some excitement, and I think the most comments to any of my posts. I must have hit a soft spot.
Michael is back in the news. This time with the trial of his doctor who is being accused of negligence in the death.
Why are we spending our resources for this trial? Regardless of how that final dose of drugs were administered, the bottom dollar is that Michael was in control of his own life and killed himself. He used hard drugs for many years before his heart stopped and created the means himself to get and use anything he wanted. It's not that I support that idiot doctor of Michael, but I don't think he should be imprisoned. Do we really file murder charges against the drug dealer every time someone fixes too hot of a load for himself? This case is nothing different.

Rythm
.
It was with that 60's era song, "Listen to the rythm of the falling rain" that began my infactuation with rythm. Everything in life has a rythm and by understanding rythm is to better understand life.
In hearing the rythm of "pitter-patter" of the rain drops, one can often predict when the next clash of thunder or bolt of lightning will come. Listening to the rythm of a Woodpecker's peck can reveal the type of tree he his boring. From the rythm of my Harley Davidson's engine, I know whether I'm going up or down a hill and at what speed. The churning of clothes in a dryer will reveal when they are about finished. From the rythm of the waves at the beach, I know whether the tide is running out, or when a new storm is brewing in the north.
The cry of a baby, or the voice of a man, often reveals whether he is lying, or whether a diaper needs changing. The rythm of a cracking fire or the gattling of a machine gun reaveals the ammo or fuel supply. The rythym of a heart reveals one's health.
Understanding rythm is but the beginning, for it is recognizing the change in rythms that is important. And that is what many of us can't see. And that is why we are where we are.
Keep vacuuming when the motor is at a high whine, means something is plugged up and your carpet will remain dirty. Ignoring the missfire of your Harley engine will leave you stranded and out gas. Failing to recognize a high heart pulse can lead to a flatline.
Hear the rythm of everything around you and keep alert for the changes as they begin. Recognize the changes and react. The rythm of America is changing. Can you hear it? Our econmy is sputtering. Wall Street is sounding alarms. Our polititions are arguing. Our people are protesting in the streets. Our safety is constantly threatened from all sides. Hurricanes, earthquakes, heavy snow and flooding. Listen to it.
Like the turbulance during the 60's, America is crying out again. Don't look away. See it! Don't ignore or tolerate it. Stop it! Failing to act will force us to return.
Listen to the rythm of a falling America.

Like the turbulance during the 60's, America is crying out again. Don't look away. See it! Don't ignore or tolerate it. Stop it! Failing to act will force us to return.
Listen to the rythm of a falling America.

End of the Line
.
Ok, I know just how much you guys like opinion polls, so I put one just to the left. Vote in the poll, or comment to let the Followers know what you think.
The following is from a TV News story of an incident that happened outside Portland, Oregon. I don't think it has gone national yet, but by the time you get this, it probably will. It's really controversial. Here is what the news reported:
Last Thursday evening, at about 8pm, a young mother was riding a city bus with her child, which I think was just shy of two years old. According to the bus driver, the child began crying and that crying soon elevated into screams, which bothered not only the driver, but the other passengers.
The bus driver reportedly asked the mother to quiet the child over the PA system, but when she was unable to do so, the driver stopped the bus. The driver asked the mother again to control her child, but she was unable. The driver then asked the mother to exit the bus because she could not operate it safely with all of the commotion. The mother and child promptly exited and later filed a complaint.
The bus driver has subsequently been removed from her position and will be disciplined by her employer.
Here is a link to a video bus cameras. The video has no sound included. It appears that the mother was Hispanic and because she spoke no English. It could also be presumed that she is an Illegal Alien
You decide. I'll give you my opinion after the poll closes.

Bobbing for Apples
.
Look how far we've come these past few decades. Such a fear of passing germs now days. Pretty sad I say, well at least for the most part.
Seems like it all started with the advent of toilet seat covers (butt gaskets). Even though every doctor I ever saw swore that you could not catch a disease by merely sittin on a toilet after someone else, the fear prevailed and it soon became state law most everywhere.
Soon to follow were bans on bare feet, shirts, and cigarette smoking in grocery stores, yet laws prohibiting urinating in public and spitting on the sidewalk were abolished in California. With the discovery of AIDS, things got far worse. We wore gloves and masks, and mouth to mouth CPR was abolished. Let them die where they fall. Don't risk contaminating yourself to save a life in an emergency.
Never shake hands. Give them an elbow bump instead. Don't touch door knobs, water spigots, and toilet flushers in public places. Sneeze into your armpit. Wear gloves at the ATM, yet use a public phone without concern?
Pretty sad that this has become what we are. No more using the same towel to blindfold a kid's eyes to play Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Who would even think about dunking you head into a water tank where ten others bobbed for apples just before you.
Yet even with all these precautions in place it seems we have more and more biological scares. The bird flu, the pig virus, and food contaminations seem everywhere! A new one several times a year. Can't even fart under the blankets any more without risking a beating from my wife.
Gosh darn it...

In the Scheme of Things
.
There sure has been a lot of talk around town lately about Ponzi schemes. Rick Perry has been blasted about referring to Social Security as one. Seems the very word "Ponzi" raises a brow.
Typically, most folk think about investment opportunities when they hear the word "Ponzi." And that is because those schemes are what make the news. Poor, greedy people, looking for that fast buck are quick to give their money to some one in exchange for unrealistic returns, not realizing that those returns are being paid by new investors luring into the scheme by the very ones that got in early enough. And those last "in" are the losers. That's bad.
But you know, America is one giant Ponzi scheme in itself, and most people can't see it. Social Security pays benefits to retired people from funds collected from those still working, not from the contributions of the retirees as some people think.
Insurance companies, whether health, home, or auto, pay claims to losers from the premiums paid by the others. But nobody calls them Ponzi schemes. Giant multi-level marketing businesses lure unsuspecting, greedy people, on the promise of making big profits in sales. All they really have to due is to recruit new people in to buy their "Starter Packets."
Casinos pay their winners from the losses of the losers. But just as insurance companies and everyone else, the casinos keep far more as profits for themselves. A Ponzi scheme?
For years now, our government has been luring people into the stock market with the creations of the many IRA, 401, and College Savings plans. More and more money is collected and placed into the stock market or banks controlled by long term rules to protect the financial industries. Stocks and interest rates soar, not because the companies or banks are solid, but merely because of the new money coming into play. And when things pop, the newest ones in become the last ones out and thus are the losers.
So, are Ponzi schemes bad? I'm sure at least some of you have benefitted by one some time or another, but never even realized it. Only when someone is a loser does on call foul. No one compains about pulling a winning crank on a slot, but when one looses his quarter, it'd crying time. No one complains about getting a health insurance settlement, but only cries foul about his premiums. Nor does one complain about getting in on a multi-level sales scheme and making a huge profit, but surely whines when he buys in only to find the market is already saturated.
Capitalism is what has driven America for 200 years, and good or bad, Ponzi schemes are everywhere whether you care to admit it or not.
So, get over it. But remember, you've got to know when to hold 'em and know when to fold them. Not that I always have, but..

Walk like an Egyptian (Better yet, a Greek)
.
Just as in Greece, our lazy and spoiled rotten population just don't understand. The money has run out. The rich will remain rich and the American poor have never been so well off.
They are marching on Wall Street. One young socialist was interviewed on the news. She was complaining that she couldn't pay back her 100k student loan, therefore it should be forgiven. Apparently her 100 Grand education didn't help her intelligence much. Aside from being stupid, she actually believes that she is entitled to a free college education.
We've been feeding the ducks for far too long now. The more these idiots get, the more they demand. Just like the idiots in Greece. Burn their cities. Assault the cops. Shut down government (the very one that has been feeding them) 40% unemployment. Most retire at age 53. No wonder their world has fallen apart, and many more of the European socialists countries will soon follow.
Wake up folks. Quit feeding these ducks.

American History 101
.
-- For those that don't know American history ... Here is a condensed version:
In the beginning, North America was populated by small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deerin the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer.
These were the foundations of modern civilization and together, were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups: Liberals and conservatives.
Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum canwere invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.
Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at nightwhile they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement...
Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ'sand doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. They became known as girlie-men. Some note worthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that the conservatives provided.
Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass for obvious reasons.
Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men.
Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.
Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud or Miller. They eat red meatand still provide for their women. Conservatives are big game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively.
Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living. Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production.
Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.
Here ends today's lesson in world history: ... I'm going to have another beer.
.
Thanks DD. I couldn't have said it any better.

Who is He?
.
He has doubled our National Debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year.
He criticized a State Law that he admitted he never even read. He joined Mexico and sued Arizona force it continue to allow Illegal Immigration.
He put 87,000 workers out of work by arbitrarily placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling on companies that have one of the best safety records of any industry because one foreign company (BP) had an accident.
He gave a an IPod containing videos of his speeches as a gift to the Queen of Englandn and he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia.
He filled his Cabinet and circle of Advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current on their Income Taxes.
He commented about the significance of "Cinco de Cuatro" to a Mexican ambassador instead of addressing "Cinco de Mayo." (I wonder where his teleprompter was?)
He approved Air Force One followed by a jet fighter to fly low over Manhattan for a photo shoot only to cause panic to of millions of people.
He appointed 32 Czars that report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America.
He's done all these things in 28 months -- and you have less than 19 months to come up with an answer.

The Long Walk
.
Let me begin by saying that this post does not refer to anyone in particular. But more importantly, it does not pertain to anyone that has had a real game changing incident to their way of life. I'm talking about perhaps a significant loss of income, a medical emergency, an earthquake, flood, or a huricane.
It does however refer to many people just like me. The average, everyday kind of guy. The kind of guy that pays his taxes, makes his loan obligations and generally is an honest dude. Most of the people I run with and see everywhere fit into this catagory.
Now, supposing this average kind of guy lived near Los Angeles or Las Vegas, had an average, everyday kind of job (perhaps in the public sector), and has been knocking down 80k for the past 5 years. So this average kind of guy, bought a home in 2005 for what he believed was a steal at 400k. He put little or no money down, and between him and his spouse made the $1800 mortgage payment without much of a struggle.
Nothing changed with this average guy during the next five years. He liked his home. He had the same job (although he agreed to accept 1 furlough day a month), his family was healthy, and he had a retirement building to take care of his needs later in life. Except..... the housing market turned sour and his home was worth 20% less that what he had paid.
So, after hearing a story on the news, this average kind of guy asks the bank to reduce his loan amount and cover his investment loss. Of course they refuse and he asks the government to do the same, and it too refuses. So..... following the advice of that mortgage expert he saw on television, he stops making his mortgage payment and banks the payments he had been making, and then dares the bank to come and get the house after he had banked nearly a year's worth of payments that were owed to the bank. Probably just about enough savings to buy another home.
You know, nothing had changed in his life since he walked out on his obligation. He still had his job, was making the mortgage, was fixing up the place, and really liked living there. But what made this average kind of guy to walk? In doing so, he lost his honor, his trust, and his ethics. He became a thief, and actually stole from many other people like me. But does that evenmatter to anyone except me anymore?
People like me lost their investment CD's, their stock values, and were left holding the bag. And their investments were also down 20%. No one bailed them out, and for me there is no where to walk even if I threw my ethics in the toilet right next to that average kind of guy.
You know, I don't feel sorry for this average kind of guy. Actually I pitty him. He was convinced to compromise his pride and walk, leaving someone else to pay his tab. And this downward spiral will continue as even our government is encouraging many more to just walk away.
All I can do is hope that the walk for him is very long and hard for those kind of guys.

Roll me Over
.
It seems that day was so very long ago. That day when I was thumbing through the pages of Mom's Bible. The day I first saw that dried out and flattened Four-Leaf Clover that she kept between the pages. And it was just recently that I came across it again where she had kept it so very long ago.
It was the first time that I had ever seen one, and I've seen only a few since. So, I risked getting spanked for snooping in her stuff, but I had to ask her about the find. She explained that Four Leaf Clovers hung out amid the rest of clovers in most any field. They were special, and filled with luck, but were very hard to find.
I looked for what seemed like hours that day, alone in a clover field in the park. Each time, I would grab the plant only to realize it had but three leaves. Over and over again. Only ones with 3 leaves could I find as my disapointment grew and grew. With tears in my eyes, I returned home only to be coddled in Mom's arms.
Together we returned to that clover field, and within what seemed like moments, she had found 3 or 4 of them. So many, so quickly, in fact that I believed she actually planted them herself. And then she pointed one out to me for me to pick. How lucky I was! Immediately, I felt the rush, just as she had explained would come. And ever so suddenly, she jumped on me, and together we laughed as she sung, "Roll me over in the clover, roll me over ,lay me down and do it again!"
I learned that day, that Four Leaf Clovers are more prevailent that what one might seem. They blend in with their surroundings so well that they seem hard to find. And if you look so hard for them, you just might not find any even though they are staring you in the face.
Such is life. Life is good. It is filled with pleasures. It is all around us, even in the gloomiest of days. But sometimes we over look all the pleasures God has given us and seem only to dwell on the other crap.
Roll me over Mom. I wish we could do that again.

The whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth.
.
According to Senator Doug Whitsett, R-Oregon, a number of economic records have been established during the first 32 months of the Obama administration.
Federal spending has surpassed twenty five percent of Gross Domestic Product for the first time since World War II. Historically, the spending rate has be in the area of 18% according government publishings. It is clearly not sustainable.
The sum of that federal debt has now reached more than two thirds of our Gross Domestic Product for the first time since the end of World War II. It will soon reach one hundred percent of GDP if our congressional leaders fail to curtail our current spending practices where forty cents of every dollar spent is borrowed money.
The number of United States taxpayers that actually pay income taxes now stands at forty nine percent. For the first time in the modern era less than half of American tax payers are contributing to income tax revenue, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation.
The recent downgrade of the quality of United States sovereign debt by Standard and Poor’s was the first lowering of that rating in the history of our nation.
The part of the United States workforce that is actively employed is the lowest since 1983. Only about fifty eight percent of the eligible workforce is currently employed, according the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Home ownership in the United States has plummeted to less than sixty percent. That is the lowest percentage of home owners since 1965, according to the United States Census.
And the most damning record achieved by the current administration is the number of persons depending on their government for sustenance. Forty seven percent of those who live in the United States are receiving one or more federal benefit payments. That astounding dependency record is the highest in American history.
The administration has enacted myriad policies and invested trillions of dollars into the economy. The failed policies include $825 million in stimulus spending, cash for clunkers and the multibillion dollar bailouts of General Motors and Chrysler.
The impending economic effects of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will soon be visited upon us. ObamaCare will result in government takeover of nearly one third of our national economy, virtually eliminate medical choice, enforce myriad new rules and regulations, and levy multiple new taxes to further throttle our national economy.
President Obama’s recent speech before Congress appears to guarantee more of the same. He promises to spend another $450 billion of mostly borrowed money on programs that are largely destined to fail or that have already failed. This massive cash infusion is to be paid for by as yet unidentified future spending reductions and increased taxes on the rich.
The President appears to believe that government is the solution to every problem. I believe that government is usually the cause of the problem.
We are in trouble!

From Anguish to Anger
.
Everywhere I went today, I saw people in anguish. Anguish in Church. On the television. Friends at breakfast, and at the dock. Anguished over the remembrance of September 11, 2001. For ten years now, most everyone has been in anguish. Except Muslims.
Anguished over the loss of life. Our fallen first responders. Innocent people. Fallen children, grandchildren, daughters, sons, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts. Fallen fathers whose children never had a chance to meet them. Mothers, sisters, brothers, preachers, and teachers. Even someone bearing my name. So many people. So much anguish.
The anguish was apparent everywhere I went, but there was something notably missing from those that I watched today. Anger! Anger like I've had for many years now. I guess it is different for many. Longer for some to get, and never for others.
I am very angry. Angry about the followers of Islam. Muslims whom have no reverence for anyone that has a different way of life from theirs. Islam supports the murder of anyone who does not accept their God. You know. The Infidels. Is that you? Aren't you one of them?
Why did I not see any anger today? Is no one angry that the Muslims killed their loved ones? Is no one angry that the Muslims highjacked four fully loaded airplanes of innocent people and drove them into our symbols of freedom? Is no one angry that the Muslims murdered nearly 3000 innocent people in a single attack on America? Isn't anyone angry that Cyndi Lauper botched our National Anthem during a 911 memorial service. Or perhaps she did it on purpiose. Isn't anyone angry that President Obama has bowed before Muslim leaders and apologized for America's arrogance? Am I the only one that is angry?
My anger with Islam began nearly 20 years ago. Long before 9/11. It began when the Muslims blew up the World Trade Center the first time in 1993. By the Grace of God, they failed. But they were determined ever more to continue with their reign of terror. Then it was an American embassy. Then it was the USS Cole. And there were so many others in between, in other Christian Nations, that saw little news worthiness here.
Uh oh. Did I infer that the terrorists attacked against American were, and are, attacks on Christianity? You bet I did. It is and it was. It is Islam. All of Islam. Every Muslim. It is part of their Kuran. Destroy Chritianity at all costs.
So why are you not angry? Do you cover your ears? Your eyes? Turn your head perhaps? Forgive them? Tolerate them? Embrace them believing they then won't hurt you? You are fools if you do.
Beware. Whatever path, whatever means, whatever way you choose to accept these practices will haunt you in the years to come. Because they will get you. Your wife. Your children and your neighbor.
Yes, I am angry. Very angry. And aside from me being angry with Islam, I am angry with those that tolerate it. Is that you? I hope not. So get angry and never forget.

Obama: America's Savior
.
The following Letter to the Editor, Aspen Colorado Times, was written by Mr. Gary Hubbel, well before last night's Obama address to the Congress. An interesting perspective:
Barack Obama is the best thing that has happened to America in the last 100 years. Truly, he is the savior of America 's future. Despite the fact that he has some of the lowest approval ratings among recent presidents, history will see Barack Obama as the source of America 's resurrection.
Barack Obama has plunged the country into levels of debt that we could not have previously imagined; his efforts to nationalize health care have been met with fierce resistance nationwide; TARP bailouts and stimulus spending have shown little positive effect on the national economy; unemployment is unacceptably high and looks to remain that way for most of a decade; legacy entitlement programs have ballooned to unsustainable levels, and there is a seething anger in the populace.
That's why Barack Obama is such a good thing for America. Here's why. Obama is the symbol of a creeping liberalism that has infected our society like a cancer for the last 100 years. Just as Hitler is the face of fascism, Obama will go down in history as the face of unchecked liberalism.
The cancer metastasized to the point where it could no longer be ignored. Average Americans who have quietly gone about their lives, earning a paycheck, contributing to their favorite charities, going to high school football games on Friday night, spending their weekends at the beach or on hunting trips - they've gotten off the fence. They've woken up.
There is a level of political activism in this country that we haven't seen since the American Revolution, and Barack Obama has been the catalyst that has sparked a restructuring of the American political and social consciousness. Think of the crap we've slowly learned to tolerate over the past 50 years as liberalism sought to re-structure the America that was the symbol of freedom and liberty to all the people of the world. Immigration laws were ignored on the basis of compassion. Welfare policies encouraged irresponsibility, the fracturing of families, and a cycle of generations of dependency. Debt was regarded as a tonic to lubricate the economy. Our children left school having been taught that they are exceptional and special, while great numbers of them cannot perform basic functions of mathematics and literacy.
Legislators decided that people could not be trusted to defend their own homes, and stripped citizens of their rights to own firearms. Productive members of society have been penalized with a heavy burden of taxes in order to support legions of do-nothings who loll around, reveling in their addictions, obesity, indolence, ignorance and "disabilities." Criminals have been arrested and re-arrested, coddled and set free to pillage the citizenry yet again. Lawyers routinely extort fortunes from doctors, contractors and business people with dubious torts.
We slowly learned to tolerate these outrages, shaking our heads in disbelief, and we went on with our lives. But Barack Obama has ripped the lid off a seething cauldron of dissatisfaction and unrest. A former Communist is given a paid government position in the White House as an advisor to the president. Auto companies are taken over by the government, and the auto workers' union - whose contracts are completely insupportable in any economic sense - is rewarded with a stake in the company.
Government bails out Wall Street investment bankers and insurance companies, who pay their executives outrageous bonuses as thanks for the public support. Terrorists are read their Miranda rights and given free lawyers. And, despite overwhelming public disapproval, Barack Obama has pushed forward with a health care plan that would re-structure one-sixth of the American economy.
Literally millions of Americans have had enough. They're organizing, they're studying the Constitution and the Federalist Papers, they're reading history and case law, they're showing up at rallies and meetings, and a slew of conservative candidates are throwing their hats into the ring. Is there a revolution brewing?
Yes, in the sense that there is a keen awareness that our priorities and sensibilities must be radically re-structured. Will it be a violent revolution? No. It will be done through the interpretation of the original document that has guided us for 220 "FANTASTIC" years--- the Constitution.
Just as the pendulum swung to embrace political correctness and liberalism, there will be a backlash, a complete repudiation of a hundred years of nonsense. A hundred years from now, history will perceive the year 2010 as the time when America got back on the right track. And for that, we can thank Barack Hussein Obama.

Paper, Pencils, Fish and Chips
.
Yesterday, we made a short trip south along the Central Oregon Coast to a harbor city much like the one where we live. We stopped for lunch at a floating fish market in the marina. The waiter informed us that his fish and chips were prepared from only the finest cod from Chile, so that was what we ordered. As we waited for our meal, I looked over the waters and realized about 80% of the slips were vacant, not because everyone was out fishing, but because there was no fishing to be had. What once was a bustling fishing community 20 years ago, was now little more than a ghost town because of the over regulating of the industry by our government, and an invitation to foreign countries to provide our food staples.
As we ate, a group of ducks formed near our dockside table. Someone tossed a few french fries to them, and after a bit, they had their fill and left. I thought, although they looked like ducks, they weren't realyy ducks any more. They have been so acustomed to being fed, that they have lost their survival skills, and will no longer make any effort to support themselves. And, their offspring will be taught to do the same. Much the same has happened to good Americans, spoiled by the entitlements offered bu our government.
On the return trip home, we passed several lumber mills, paper, and plywood processing plants. All were closed. No one worked there any more, which has been the case for the past 20 years. All were closed due to the over regulation of the forrest industry by our government following demands from the far left ecologists. What once was a booming industry, pumping out paper, pencils, and construction lumber, is no more. The 34 cent two-by-four of the 1980 era is now nearly $3.00 and imported from abroad.
Now, I am sure many of you have seen the impact of government over regulation in the areas where you live. Perhaps you've seen the abandoned wheat fields, cotton farms, and mineral mines across America that have been replaced by government subsidised programs. The farmers have become like the ducks in the harbor, and the rest of us are paying for it.
Hundreds of thousands of jobs could be returned to America if the government releases it's grip on over regulation. Jobs in oild drilling. Jobs in the lumber, farming and fishing industries. And the thousands of other jobs that would be created from the trickle down effect. Boat builders, heavy equiptment operators, machine manufacturers, fish processing, and transportation.
America could be America again when our paper and pencils are affordable to every child that wants to attend school. Iron ore would be mined here and made into steel locally. Our food would be grown in America, and exported like it once was. 2x4's would be produced here making homes more affordable, and I could get a decent Pacific Halibut fish and chip dinner.
Enjoy your Labor Day, but think about labor.

Back to the usual
.
Yes, we are back. Back at the Central Oregon Coast. Back to the usual (for me that is). Away from the unusual. But you know, although I like the unusual, I really like the usual best.
The vast Great Plains where I could see for miles ahead of me as I drove along what must have been some of America's straightest roads was unusual for me. I prefer the winding roads of the Oregon coast where beyond each turn, or over the next hill, is a new view to enjoy.
Unusual were the herds of bufalo and antelope scattered along the open, brown fields for hundreds of miles. I prefer the green, rolling hills here with flocks of Mallards and Canadian geese, a deer, or an ocassional elk. Or an Eagle soaring above, a Great Blue Heron lurking in the marsh, and knowing the river is full of Salmon heading upstream. That is what usual has become for to me.
Not a day under ninety, but many into the 100 degree was fine for maximizing my tan, but the daily afternoon thunder storms ruined many a barbecue. Winds raced across the flatlands taking anything not tied down and ruining any chance of fuel economy in the Wheeled Manor. I prefer the ocassional ocean breeze, and the moderate temperatures of the Pacific. I'll buy that tan if need be.
I stood in awe before the majesty of the Rocky Mountains, but the Cascades are every bit as pretty, although only a third the height.
Only one thing can not be found on the Central Coast of Oregon, and nothing can be substituted for it. We have no family here. No children of ours, with their children. What a wonderful thing it was. Watching one grand daughter emerge into a teenager, while knowing that another will soon be born. A first day of school for one, and a second birthday party for another. Time shared fishing with one, while riding a bicycle with another. Fixing things that only Grandpa-D can fix. And giving advice which everyone thinks is old fashioned and out dated.
So, there are things that are unusual that I can only hope someday become more usual.

This article was sent by an avid Follower of the thought Dock. Although it was reported in the news a few months ago, it still raises a valid point. Thanks BK!
Reporting live, just outside of Reno, Nevada.
Michael Richards, better known as Kramer, from TVs Seinfeld does make a good point. This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act. He makes some very interesting points.
There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. And then there are just Americans.
You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction. You call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'... And that's OK... But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head, Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink .. You call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you. So why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day. You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi. You have the NAACP. You have BET....
If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we'd be racists. If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists. If we had White History Month, we'd be racists. If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, we'd be racists.
We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who pays for that?
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant. If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know we'd be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US. Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college. In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us racists.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
You rob us, car jack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.
I am proud...... But you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists??
Let's ALL be proud of who we are! We are Americans!

Do you ever wonder?
You know, I've been to Mount Rushmore before, but this time it was different. This time I couldn't help but wonder what those that built this monument would think of America today.
So much thought was placed into the selection of the faces to be carved. And so many men worked so hard, for so long, with primative tools to preserve their tribute in granite. Some died during thier struggle, and I doubt whether any are still alive, but I'd love to have a chat with them if I could.
I'm sure that I'd learn that they came from all walks of life. But were there any ACLU activists, Gays, Muslims, Hippies, or anti-war protestors? I'm sure plenty were Cowboys, American Indians, Chineese, and European imiigants. But were there any Mexicans, or Illegal Aliens?
And I'd ask those workers, who in our government today, would be worthy of being imortalized on that granite mountain? Could it be President Obama, or perhaps Nancy Pelosi? I'm sure that both of them would think that they deserve it.
And what would they think about Eric Holder's crusade to prosecute our CIA and FBI heros for their agressive interview techniques? How would they feel about California's courts mandating teachings about Gay history, while surpressing any suggestion about God in our schools? Would they ever have believed that Florida would support Sharia law in their courts? And what would they think about that over half of able Americans neither work or pay taxes, but instead are freeloading on government entitlements?
I can only imagine.

What a . . . .
.
. . . . . Wonderful World.
America. I call it "My World" because, although I have lived abroad, it is the only world I truly love and care about. And so, as we are nearing the end of our visiting time with our Cloradoian families, I listened to a very unknown singer provided for us as a courtesy of our campground.
He closed his concert with a Louis Armstrong favorite. And as he sang "What a Wonderful World, I listened, truly for the first time, closely to the words the song as it ponded home so many wonderful thoughts from this trip.
I see trees of green. Red roses too. I see them bllom. For me and for you. And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I saw those trees and roses in Washington State. And I knew it was My World, but I'll share it with you!
I see skies of blue. Clouds of white. Bright blessed days. Dark sacred nights. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.
I saw those skies of blue, backed by clouds of white, s I pondered at the marvel of Mount Rushmore. And Iknew that was My World, but I'll share it with you!
The colors of a rainbow. So pretty in the sky. Are also on the faces of people passing by. I see friends skaking hands, saying, "How do you do". They're really saying, ......."I Love you."
I saw the rainbows after the thunder storms in Colorado. And I shook those hands of my family and friends in South Dakota. And I really was saying, "I love you!" It is My World, but I'll share it with you!
I hear babies cry. I watch them grow. They'll learn much more than I'll ever know. And, I think to myself what a wonderful world.
And I watched my little grandchildren cry as they grow. And I know someday how smart they will become. It is My World, but I'll share it with you!
God truly has given me His wonderful world!

The brink of
.
Now, I don't think this Country is on the brink of disaster. I think it is already in disaster.
It thinks and acts like a third world country. Our leaders are corrupted and led by greed. Every man for himself.
What have we let be done to America? Over half of us pay no income taxes, while our leaders look to find more ways to tax those that do. The Congress' last minute agreement to raise the debt ceiling and cut the budget was a joke. A circus charade easily seen through by those that pay attention, and the credit downgrade should be no surprise to anyone.
And our President ignored the downgrade as if it was not worth mentioning. The first time ever of America and he doesn't care to respond? That's probably because his experience as a community organizer and his 3-years of experience holding a Senate seat in the most corrupt state in America, didn't prepare him for it. He simply is overwhelmed, and his top advisors are as ignorant as himself!
So, for me I moved from the Republican party to Independence. I'll contribute to neither party, but vote for the candidate I feel best regarless of affiliation. That's what I recommend my Followers all do. We have got to get rid of partismship, as it is dividing this Country everyday even further.
Boehner sucks, but Pelosi is worse. I'll vote for neither when their time comes. And if you are dumb enough to re-elect Obama, then that is what you deserve!

Go fly a kite
.
I love kites. And there is no better to find a kite than at the beach or lake. The kites today are huge and hardley resemble the ones of my day. They can climb, dive, do loops and circles. They are beautifully decorated and seem to scream out, "Hey! Look at me!" It is as if the kite demands all the glory.
So, like most of us, I tend to train my eyes on the kite, not the one flying it. And, most of the time I can't even figure who that is, As I follow the strings downward, they seem to disappear into the brighness of the sun reflecting off the water. And the kite's pilot blends into the many other people sharing the beach.
But you know, just like the Post Turtle, the kite didn't reach it's altitude on it's own. It has to have a pilot, and it can remain in flight without one. Someone must be on the ground, pulling, pumping, feeding string, while moving with the wind to ensure it's survival.
So, such is life with some, if not most of our polititians. They are at the top and have forgotten how they got there. They think they have the hammer, and to them, everything looks like a nail. And nails get pounded.
So, for those polititions who think they can fly for ever, show them that they are wrong. Cut the sring. Remove their anchor. Don't change with the wind. Let them lose. They will soon fall from flight. And let's start with bringing down President Obama and his Queen Nancy Pelosi.
Think about it while I enjoy my vacation in the Great Plains of America!

Defendin Radical Islam? Not Me!
.
The Thought Dock has been inudated with cries denouncing the bombing of Norway's capitol, and subsequent shooting spree at a nearby youth camp, killing over 90 innocent people.
Anders Behring Breivik, yet another radical Islamist, unleashed his madness against Christians, and in his belief that the government of Norway promotes Christianity over Islam.
But in this attack (according to a New York Times article), Breivik's manifesto revealed that he was provoked to commit his mass murder by reading anti-radical-Islam websites and blogs published in America. I wonder if he has read mine. Perhaps I should send him the link!
And the NY Times article, in my opinion, attempts to transfer blame from Breivik for the murders to these American bloggers because they provoked him into doing it!
Now you might remember also that the NY Times also tried to excuse the mass murderer of the Fort Hood soldiers as well. And the NY Times was instrument in assisting the Muslim community to win the approval to build their mosque atop Ground Zero.
While at the same time, liberal Times reporters jumped to conclusions that the Tuscan shooter, Jared Loughner, was a deranged Christian, right wing Tea Partier.
And someone wrote, "Breivik is a terrorist. His targeting of helpless schoolchildren makes him no better than the any other slaughterers. No true Christian, conservative, or responsible critic of jihad would condone Breivik’s despicable, cowardly acts or deem them to be in accordance with our beliefs and values. Much less would we celebrate those acts, unlike our Islamist counterparts.

While trying to enjoy a quiet vacacation, I happened across a news report about the Texas polygamist trial set to begin tomorrow. That pumped me right up!
If you don't know, Warren Jeffs is the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon), which believes polygamy is the key to Heaven. And he is being accused of having multiple wives, some as young as 12, as well as many other false imprisonment related charges. I suppose that if he is convicted he stands to serve some serious prison time.
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't support much of anything Momonism has to offer, especially what Jeffs is being accused of. But,on the otherhand, to me, Islam is far worse.
Yes, Jeffs has done some pretty weird things in the name of his religion, but his conduct only effects those that are in his commune, and many of his followers have chose that lifestyle themselves. His actions have never harmed anyone on the "Outside."
But far more dangerous to all of us are the actions of Islamic radicals. You see, their laws encourage violence not only against their own, but to anyone who does not accept their ways. Sharia law allows fathers to give away their daughters for marriage at age 11, or cut off the tongues of their disrespectful sons. It allows the leaders to cut off the hands of their own for violating thier law. It allows for the murder of any non-Muslim, and then rewards the muderer with the promise of a kindom filled with prostitutes after his death.
They plan attacks against the infidels from the comfort of their mosques, and even recruit outsiders to carry out their mission. And their mission is to control the earth.
Yet, in America, we not only tolerate Islam, but engourage it. Our courts many times refuse to enforce our Constitutional law and values on Muslims, and often refuse to prosecute them for the atrocities done in the name of Allah against our very own people. We reward them by allowing more and more Mosques to be built even at the doorstep of the Twin Towers.
So, why are we going to such a length to prosecute Warren Jeffs, and the other Mormon whackos of the past, while we ignore the acts of radical Islam?
What gives?

Well, Let's see. . .
.
You know, there is nothing better than being retired. Doing the things you like to do. Going where you want and when you've seen enough, moving onto something else, somewhere else.
I love it, but I have to admit,I feel bad because there are so many of you thrirsting for the wisdom of the Thought Dock. I know you are checking in regularily and I've been trying to stay on top of your submissions for publication. But it is tough you know.
I could make excuses like being out of range from the Thought Dock portal, or just being a it overwhelmed with all that is happening with the King and his Knights at the Round Table. But the fact of the matter is that I simply don't care at the moment. My time is simply more important.
Time like sharing moments with the family. Talking. Laughing. Telling stories of days gone by. Playing. Eating. Loving and watching as our children, and their children mature beneath our eyes.
And times like visiting what God has given this great country. The plains. The mountains. The rivers. The canyons and the blue skies. The Antelope and buffalo. Moose and Eagles. Geese and Buzzards. Such beauty abound!
The people. Away from the Left Coast. Away from the bustle of the Eastern big cities. The everyday people from the Heartland of America. These are the people who stand by their values everday. They are real. They are wise, and they are the ones holding this Country together.
It is a shame that so many of you have never met them, and mock them for their simpler way of life. The Nascar fans. Tractor pulls and County fairs. The truck drivers. Farmers and cowboys. Small town cops. Soldiers and Ministers.
I am proud to be one American who knows many more.

Biting he Bullet
.
Here is a tidbit received through the Thought Dock portal from a very loyal Follower of mine. Thanks for your contribution, Jim.
The President ordered the cabinet to cut $100 million from the $3.5 trillion
federal budget.
I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget. I spend about $2000 a month on groceries, household expenses, medicine, utilities, etc, but it's time to get out the budget cutting axe, go through my expenses, and cut back.
I'm going to cut my spending at exactly the same ratio, 1/35,000 of my total budget. After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2000 a month; I'm going to have to cut that number by six cents. Yes, I'm going to have to get by with $1999.94, but that's what sacrifice is all about. I'll just have to do without some things, that are, frankly, luxuries.
This really puts Obama's directive to cut expensives into an easy comparrison for all of us. Did Obama actually think no one would do the math? Obama has got to go!

America's Favorites
.
Yellowstone National Park is America's favorite park, and there is no better way to enjoy the adventure than to tour it on America's favorite motorcycle, the Harley Davidson.
So, as we put aside the Anthony verdict, that is precisely what we did. Over 500 thousand people from all across the globe visit Yellowstone each year, mostly during the summer months. So, the rumbling of the fully dressed Harley didn't seem to bother either the heards of moose, elk, buffalo, or toursists.
Everything seems to be in tune with each other. The toursist stop in the middle of the road to grab a photo of a Bison, while the Bison study the tourists. Sometimes I think tourists take more pictures of other tourists than of the beauty of the park. Fly fishermen seem to make a popular photo, as does Old Faithful, the hot springs, and my purple-flames bike. Although we only spent a full day exploring the park, we could have easily stayed a week just to get a taiste of it's massive size and overwhelming beauty.
It was truly a day to stand in awe of God's creation.

Well now, who did it then?
.
Geez, what a way to spend a vacation!
Made it to a roadside rest just south of Seattle on our first day out (Sunday). We listened on the radio during the whole trip to the final prosecution wittnesses. Then we toured the city on the Harley. We were very impressed and plan to return someday for a short getaway.
So, why is it that we continued to listen to the closing arguments on Monday as drove toward the Grand Couley Dam? What was it that kept us so glued (especially my wife) to the trial? I don't know, especially considering that I am well versed in criminal court cases. I think it was only, in contreast to the other half, that somehow I had a feeling things were not going well for the prosecution, and knowing the OJ Simpson trial all to well.
After visiting Leavenwoth, WA, we toured the Dam on the Harley, and spent the night nearby watchin local fireworks from the campground.
So, today, just about the time we were crossing into Montanna, we got the news. Not Guilty! I'm sure you heard. Although I admit I was disappointed, I was not so surprised.
Everybody involved in the case were liars. The Prosecution wittnesses, the Defense witnesses. The mother, The grammy, George, the brother, the body finder, his son, the cops, the coroner, the lab experts. Only the dead body sniffing dogs seemed honest.
Everyone involed in the trial were disfunctional, or sociopaths, including the members of the jury. What a surprise, you say. But, that is what the vast majority of Americans are today. I've said it before, but it is true. With but a small exception, most of us are ignorant.
And because the jury was but a cross section of America, how could we expect anything other. Convict Casey of lying? About what? They concluded she had nothing to do with her child's death, so what was she lying about and why then convict her of it?
I could go on with what went wrong in the trial, but I won't place blame because we are all to blame. Our justice system, which America was once known for, has become a travesty, because we have let it.
Well, we're heading for Yellowstone while you guys watch Fox News. I'm forgetting about the trial and soon won't even remember who that tiny little girl, Caylee, was.
Until Casey's movie debuts!

Sociopath Society
.
My research shows that the main characteristic of a sociopath is a disregard for the rights of others. Sociopaths are also unable to conform to what society defines as a "Normal Personality."
The sociopath also finds it hard to sustain relationships and shows a lack of regret in his actions. A major personality behavior trait is the violation of the rights of others, and an "You should love me" attitude.
Geez, now how many people can you think of that fits that profile? I can think of more than I would want to.
What about "I never had sex with That Woman" Bill Clinton? He denied it all until Monica produced the semen soaked dress she wore. Only then did he explain that he didn't think oral sex was really sex." And we, as a whole, bought into it!
What about "I couldn't help myself" Tiger Woods, or "It's so embarrassing to my wife" Kolbe Bryant? And we, as a whole, bought into it!
What about "Allalu Akbar" the Fort Hood Mass murderer, the Children of Columbine, or "Some one hacked my e-mail" Rob Weiner and "Retry me, it's a government plot against me" Blagovich? And, as a whole, we bought into it!
How about "Zanny the Nanny stole my child" Casey Anthony, or George "I never molested either Casey or that lady in the search team?" Or the "I searched the Internet for chloroform" Grammy. The brother, the meter reader, the cops or the coroner? We are buying into those as well.
Just a few, but far to many. Sociopaths are all around us. Are you one too?

How about "Zanny the Nanny stole my child" Casey Anthony, or George "I never molested either Casey or that lady in the search team?" Or the "I searched the Internet for chloroform" Grammy. The brother, the meter reader, the cops or the coroner? We are buying into those as well.
Just a few, but far to many. Sociopaths are all around us. Are you one too?

Allergic to the Truth. . .
.
Hear No evil. . See No Evil. . Say No Evil. .
No one wants to hear the Truth. They cover their ears. So it seems. It seems so, because it is so. Because hearing the Truth reveals Evil.
No one wants to see the Truth. They cover their eyes or look the other way. So it seems. It seems so because it is so. Because seeing the Truth reveals Evil.
No one wants to Speak the Truth. They mumble their words or lie. So it seems. It seems so because it is so. Because Speaking the Truth reveals Evil.
Rather than facing the Truth, they run and hide. Bury their heads or deny what is said.
They buy now and promise to pay later. As they eat now and promise to diet later. They take the oath but soon fall to the glory. They love hearing His miracles, but won't heed His warnings.
And He said, "I tell you the Truth. . . "

Pakistan: Another North Korea
.
America has long suspected that the Pakistani government has been working right along side, and sometimes right along with Al Queda. Ever since the initial "Shock and Awe" of the President Bush era where we heavily bombed the mountain region of Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden has been hiding inside Pakistan, and apparently with the support of the Pakistan government.
And while we pounded the caves with explosives, Pakistani fanatics bombed a huge hotel in India mudering dozens, and some American tourists. But Pakistan denied it, until it was proven beyond a doubt, and have since apologized to India.
Pakistan has been long complaining about American airstrikes on Al Queda targets inside their borders, while saying that innocent tribal civillian were being murdered. Not so. And when Osama bin Laden was captured, the Pakistani government arrested several of their citizens for working with America by providing us information for his capture. And then Pakinstan threatened America with retaliation should we continue intruding into their country to confront terrorism.
The proof came last week when we leaked to the Pakistan government that a US raid would occur. While we watched from statelites and drone aircraft, the Pakistan army arrived at the target location. Soon after the inhabitants were seen loading weapons into trucks and leaving just before the fake airstrike was about to happen.
Yet, through all this America is giving billions in aid to Pakistan. Pakistan has ordered 300 tactical fighters from China, perhaps using the very money we gave them. What does POakinstan need the advanced fighters for anyway? Much like Iraq, they have no business with weapons. They already they have the 5th largest nuclear arsenal in the world.
Another North Korea is brewing with Pakinstan and they must be stopped! Stop the relief funding. Bomb the crap out of Al Queda inside Pakistan. Down with Pakistan. They should be included in the Axis of Evil.

On Tour
.
Like all great American Patriots, I'm going on tour. Yep that is right. Touring America (at least parts of it). Spreading our word. Paying our respect. Seeing our sights. Our history. Our people. Our home. Our family. Our friends. Our herritage. Our country.
Yes, we've given notice. In just a few short weeks we will no longer be working. Not even part time. Completely retired. No more snot-nosed kids on the school bus, or crabby parents complaining only because I missed their child's stop. For my wife, no more fitting glasses on people who shouldn't even be driving at all.
Yep, soon after we turn the current calender page, we'll be on the road to explore the upper left quadrant of America. We'll have the marvel of a GPS to guide us to all the favorite sights and places. All the people. All the family. Places like the Colombia River Gorge. The Snake River. Up the Rocky Mountains and across the Great Divide, and into America's Heartland. Changing time zones almost as often as I change my underwear.
With the All-American motorcycle in tow, we'll anchor the wheeled manor as long as we need to check out the sights, and see the history. The Lewis & Clark trail. The Great Plains. Buffalo and Antelope. Geese and Eagles. Across the beginning of the Colorado River. Custer's last stand. Black Hills gold. Faces of our greats carved into a granite mountain. America's largest motorcycle rally brings alive Sturgis, where my brother will be. Burning tires. Patriot music. An occasional shirtless woman (it's hot that time of year, you know).
Then a bit south to visit the kids and their kids. Sharing band performances and baseball games. Perhaps a zoo or some camping time with the youngsters. Who knows. Whatever is fun, we will do.
Perhaps again north crossing the parralels into Canada. Or perhaps south and west. Perhaps Texas, New Mexico, Arizona or California. More family. More friends. Maybe the trail of Daniel Boone, or Wyatt Earp at the OK Coral. Relaxing. Laughing. Fire pits and weiners (No, not the Democrat kind).
Don't fret though. Through the marvel of technology, I'll be able to keep the light of the Thought Dock shining (at least somewhat). Follow the posts. See our route and if you're along our way, we'll stop, or at least wave as we pass.
How fun!

Sugar Daddy Syndrome
.
People flock from all over to the Los Angeles suburb of Reseda to feed the ducks. Bags of bread, potato chips, pop corn or what ever else they can find. And the Reseda Park ducks are waiting for them. But they are not really ducks any more. They don't migrate either south or north. They can't fly more that a few yards. They are fat, dirty, lazy, and at times mean. But they are all waiting in a frenzy for one thing. Free food. And as long as you got it, they will love you.
Much like the Reseda Park ducks, are 47 percent of Americans. They don't work. They contribute nothing. They are fat. Some can no longer walk. They exist only for a handout. Free food. Free medical. Free child care. Free education. Free abortions. Free rent. Free welfare. Free motorized wheel chairs. Free bus fares. Programs to buy cars and homes. Although they contribute little, if anything, they are voters. And they will vote for the one that feeds them, just like Reseda Park ducks that love the ones who feed them.
Now add to that 47% base; most every Black, most every female, most every union worker, most every Gay. And add to that, most big businesses taking advantage of tax loopholes, expanding oil fields, and an abundance of cheap illegal alien labor, and what do you have?
Four more years of Barack Hussein Obama!
So, get off your tuffs. Empty the bread baskets. Only then, will we see change. Like the Reseda Park Ducks who chase and bite at the ones whose food runs out, so will that 47 percent, as we are just beginning to see.
But until then, Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks. Sign your 'X' on the line Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight!

Invasive Species
.
Since retirement, I've become more and more of an outdoors type and have learned so much about our fragile planet than ever before. Now, more than ever before, invasive species are changing America's way of life.
Did you know that by simply chopping your own firewood and taking it to another area for a campfire could introduce a new pest into a new forrest. Or by using a small boat in several lakes without cleaning it in between, could spread parisites around that could kill the native fish. Killer bees and African Fire ants were not native to America, but now have overwhelmed our native bugs which is endagering our farmlands.
Invasive species find their way to America by one way or another. Soon they multiply, and then overwhelm the native species by their sheer numbers, and quickly dominate their new territory.
But I encourage you to look beyond the bugs to see what is really happening in America. Since the 1970's middle class White Americans have reduced their offspring to an average of two. All the while, Hispanics, Asians, and Middle Easterners are cranking kids out as fast as they can. And in such a short time, America's White population has suceeded to Hispanics, and soon the others.
We can already see how America has changed, but we haven't seen anything yet. More is to come. The once minorities are taking over our government offices, and our country with out a fight. Gays and Lesbians have obtained acceptance of most Americans simply by comming out of their closets and annoucing their numbers. Now they are everywhere. In our schools educating our children. In our churches preaching a twisted version of Christianity, while they kiss and cuddle before our eyes to spead their filth.
Middle Easterners are having huge families in America simply to overwhelm us and impose their Islamic beliefs and culture here. As in Europe now, Middle Easterners, unless pregant, are all considered Soldiers of Islam, and are ready to carry guns or strap on bombs to further their Islamic ways.
It's happening much sooner that we can see. America will be conquered by these invasive species only because we allow it.

Being more pacific
.
Geez, the weather around our country has sure been nasty as of late. From the huge fires in Texas, to the floods all along the Mississippi River, to the tornados through out the midwest. My heart goes out to all whom have suffered.
But here in the Pacific Northwest, things are quite normal. And that means rain, which makes things green. Even the soles of your feet turn green with the dreaded moldy grunge. But that clears up nicely with a daily soak in a warm bleach solution while you tune into the evening Fox News. Just kidding. Not about Fox, but the soak.
To be more specific, I love the Pacific. Even though our rainfall totals exceed most any other place in America, we do have many georgeous days, and with few floods and such. And the time of year is here that the sunshine will overcome the clouds most of the time.
There will be a few days when one might sweat a bit, especially while kayaking, or hiking a trail to a favorite fishing spot. But you can cool off with a drive on the beach. Notice I said, "on?" I mean that. Not along side, on a highway, but right "on" the sand. How cool is that?
Small town parades and festivals. RV-ing, Chilli cookoffs, country music jams, chainsaw carving contests, boat races, bicycling, Harley rides, and wine tastings will consume most every available moment of my time.
Come, visit us, and see for yourself!

Since you asked
.
Well, most of you never quite ask. Well, you do. But not so in such an obvious way. I receive quaint gestures, seemingly innocent noises, or sometimes just silence and a blatant stare. A casual e-mail, a phone call, or a text. Most everything gets fed to the Thought Dock portal in one way or another, and many times a response is expected.
You see, I really don't care about a lot of things, but the things I care about, I care a lot. Every now and then I comment about the things you deliver to me that I do care about. I really don't like speaking for everyone, but I do so only because you won't say what needs to be said for one reason or another. So, actually, what I say is what you said to me at one time or another. I'm not a wizzard. You are. So, you shouldn't be shocked by what I say in public, because it is actually what you would like to say, but can't.
Now let's get to it. I'll say what you can't about BHO (remember, that is short for Barack Hussein Obama?) I could shorten it even further by just calling him BO, but that would not be in good taste. And it is important that you remember his full name completely since that gives light to just who he really is.
Let's see. Just last week, BHO unravelled a huge chunk from his bank roll (which is actually ours) and handed to over to six or eight Middle East and African countries whom are in a state of turmoil. You know who they are. Well, BHO sent the money so that the rebels (I don't know why we call them that) can further advance democracy in their country. Is BHO nuts, or does he believe we are? Democracy can not exist, and is forbidden by the Kuran. And since the countries that he gave the money to are 90% Muslim, we are waisting our efforts there because democracy can not exist there.
Then, BHO asks Pakistan for access to bin Laden's compound and wives to search for additional evidence. Pakistan denied that and threatened to give our downed secret helicopter to China. Yet yet does nothing. And on top of that, Pakistans is buying advanced fighter jets from China. Now what does a camel riding country in turmoil need with fighter jets? But we keep sending them 8 billion dollars a year, while our government is in the brink of bankruptsy!
Yesterday, BHO displayed his true Muslim ties when he blasted Israel and blamed them for the Jewish/Arab conflict! Israel is our strongest alli in that region and has been for near 50 years. Now BHO wants them to hand over their land to the Arabs. You know, America was founded on Christian priciples and values. And the Jews of Israel are the forefathers of Christianity. And we are obliged to support them. Yet BHO favors the Palistines, Egypt, Syria, and the others. Will Iraq be next?
BHO favors the Muslims in this country as well. He favors the building of even more mosques, even though the ones we all ready have fund terror. He supports Sharia law. He denounces the burning of the Kuran, which he calls "Holy." Yet he ordered thousands of Holy Bibles that we sent privately to Afghaninstan for distbution by a non-profit, to be burned.
The race is on for America's next leader. It is so very important that we never forget these kind of things in our decision to vote. Tell your friends. Speak out. Support those that support your views. But if you can't say it, I'll speak for you.

Are we safer now?
.
The following is the opinion of Guy Rodgers, Act for America:
Osama bin Laden is dead, but America is less safe than it was three years ago. Why? Because the very interrogation techniques that provided valuable intelligence that led to our government finding bin Laden have been banned by President Obama.
What’s worse, some of the CIA interrogators who used those techniques, with government approval, remain under investigation today by Attorney General Eric Holder’s Justice Department. Consider the message that sends.
Those opposed to “enhanced interrogation techniques” have blustered and blundered their way through “explanations” that such techniques were not necessary in obtaining the intelligence needed to find bin Laden. Nonsense. Numerous top former intelligence and Justice Department officials have spoken on the record since bin Laden was killed, all making a clear and compelling case that such techniques were indispensable in obtaining the intelligence needed to find bin Laden.
America is less safe now than three years ago because interrogators today are shackled by interrogation guidelines that are actually more restrictive than those a homicide detective might use in questioning a murder suspect. The fact is, had interrogators during the Bush administration been restricted by the interrogation guidelines the Obama administration now operates under, it is highly unlikely some of the key intelligence that led to bin Laden would have ever been obtained. The Obama administration suffers under a denial of reality that has put America at greater risk from the violent jihad of radical Islam.
First, this administration has consciously engaged in what I term “Jihad Denial Syndrome.” Those laboring under this malady refuse to acknowledge what most people can plainly see, that jihadist ideology is what is driving those who wish us harm.
Second, this administration, because it denies there is a jihadist ideology driving Islamic terrorism, refuses to characterize this as a “war,” instead treating it as a criminal justice problem. It is this mindset that produces absurd orders to read Miranda rights to insurgents captured in Afghanistan.
It is this mindset that leads to Eric Holder’s obsession with civilian criminal trials for suspected terrorists who would receive more due process rights than a uniformed enemy combatant is entitled to under the Geneva Convention.
Yes, bin Laden is dead. America is right to celebrate. But we must continue to organize and speak out against government policies that appease our enemies and compromise our security. Our voice must continue to get louder and stronger.

Ethan Knows Best
.
Last week was especially busy for me. This "substitute" bus driver job is wearing me out. I worked every day last week with two days having 3 routes each. It is brutal to have to work.
But the reward came on Friday morning during the Kindergarten route taking the kids home after school. It is my "high mantenence" route. It is one of those 16 passenger converted van jobs, which gets packed with little ones. Few of them can seat themselves quickly or fasten their seat bealts without my assistance. That means after stopping the bus, I have to get up, walk down the isle, find the kid that matches the stop, release their seatbelt, and send them out the door, all-the-while traffic is backing up behind me. At times, I hate it!
Well, as Ethan boarded the bus Friday, he hesitated at the door and stated, "You're the best!" I asked, "Really? Why?" "Your the best bus driver! You always wear that fishing hat and you look funny with that toothpick! You're the Bomb."
So I asked what he thought Stephen (the regular driver) might feel when he finds out that I'm the best. Ethan covered his moth with his hand and muttered, "Shhh. We just can't tell him!"
Enjoy the weekend.

In Some Way
.
The BHO administration has been beating it's chest to increase taxes. He tells us that the rich people of America are evil and should be forced to give more in taxes. He blames the oil companies for the high cost of gas and demands that they pay even more of their profits in taxes. He says the banks are cheats and need to be punished though higher taxes for their misdeeds. He has mandated all employers to provide their employees with health care and other perks like government emplyees get.
Now, at first thought BHO's socialistic ideas might sound inviting, especially to the liberal. You see the liberals of America are the ones that most likely don't work, or if they do, the tend to work in the public sector.
Homeless people, unemployed people, teachers, preachers, rocket scientists, researchers, and many school bus drivers are the supporters of the BHO socialist agenda. And anyone who has more than them are seen as their enemies.
The problem with this socialist concept is that, in some way, it will come back and we will pay for it anyway. Two years ago, San Francisco mandated the even small businesses must provide health care to their emplyees. Immediately, a small coffee shop posted a 15% surcharge on every item in the menu, listing the cost of the medical care mandate. Customers screamed because it came back to them. What would they expect? Could these BHO supported even think that the shop owner would just absorb these costs? Dumb question, I guess.
Whether we think that oil companies and banks are making too much profit or not, we can bet our butts that if BHO taxes them more, in some way, we will pay for it. Raise taxes on the wealthiest and the will only hire fewer maids and gardeners.
Instead of trying to punish the wealthy, BHO should be taking lessons from them. Perhaps we wouldn't have so many failing public ventures, such as the USPS. Mandating employer provided health care will only bankrupt many business, just as it has caused the bankruptsies of many governments!

A roof leaks only when it rains
.
Well before I get into today's lesson, let me say that since President Obama and his staff think it is OK to address Usama bin Laden as "UBL," I think it is entirely appropriate for me to refer to Obama as "BHO." That said, I will without any disrespect, refer to the President as BHO, at least until I change my mind again. And in case you don't know or have forgotten his full Muslim name, it is "Barack Hussein Obama."
Roofs, like most every thing in this life require mantenence. And if you ignore it, sooner or later your roof will leak, even if you live in the brown parts of SoCal. And when it does, your mess will be far greater and more expensive than it would have been if you had properly mantained it. Yes, I know that some of you will simply put a tarp over it to stall off the repair, but eventually you will lose that bout too.
So take my advice. Change your oil when it is due. Replace your tires before they blow out. Monitor you blood pressure before you blow out. Stop smoking before you are diagnosed with cancer. Change your socks before your toes rot. Get straight with Christ before the trumpets blow.
You all know the drill, but few of you take the steps you should.
America is in debt, and it did not happen over night. It wasn't just the fault of the Democrats, but with each of us. We tarped the debt roof too many times over the years, and now the tarp is about to fade. And when it does, it will be a bigger mess than any of us can imagine. It will hurt, and we will drown. We can't just put down another layer without solving the problem of our growing debt.
So get your lives on track. And demand that our polititians get our Country back on track. New York City needs to quit buying Nissan taxis if they want to create jobs. We need to quit funding programs of failure, stop excessive entitlement programs, stop educating and doctoring illegal alliens, and the list goes on and on. Start with BHO!
It is not Somewhere Over the Rainbow, it is real.

For a Moment
.
Yesterday, President Obama visited our troops at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. While he beat his chest like the Ape Man himself for the killing of Usama himself, he did offer his gratitude for the soldiers.
Following the circus, one soldier whom had 3 sand land deployments, was asked by the media for his response to the President's visit. The Army Sergeant replied something similar to, "During my 12 years of service, I've never really understood our mission overeseas. Rules of engagement continually changed, my comrades have been imprisoned for making mistakes, and we have been forced to befriend people that we know are our enemy. But for a moment, the President's visit made me feel good because it caused us all to come together without regard to wheteher we are Democrats, Republicans, liberals, or conservative. And, that maded me proud."
The soldier's remark could not have been better made. For a moment we have come together. Flags are being waved, chanting is heard, people are rejoicing in the streets. Country Western artists will write songs, and movies will be made. There is talk of patriotism everywhere, much like we had following the 9/11 attack.
But sadly it will last just for a moment, and then we will all go on with our regular lives. Too busy to care, to get involved, to do something about the many other issues that are destroying America. We will convict our soldiers for doing the very thing that Obama did. We will turn our heads away from right to life, budget, and overspending issues. We will investigate the very CIA agents that led to the capture of bin Laden. We will continue to fund terrorists countries that burn our flag in protest.
After a moment, our politians will be right back trying to preserve their own self-interests with out regard for what is best for America.

Ding. Dong.
.
Ding-Dong, the Witch is Dead. The Wicked Witch is Dead!
I wonder whether Usama bin Laden was screaming Allahu Akbar at the moment that bullet entered his forehead and instantly removed most of his brain. I wonder whether in that split second before his death, if he had a chance to realize that his "Allah" is not great, but is really Satan. Perhaps he has now met the Devil himself.
My God is Great, and I'm sure that bin Laden had an opportunity to accept Him.
In looking at the news photos of bin Laden's so called "mansion," the most expensive building anywhere in town, I can't help but to be surprised at the filth this maggot was living in. Dirty laundry, unswept floors, and uneaten food scraps erverywhere. It seems to me to be the Muslim way of life. Pure 3rd world.
Well, now that it's over, Obamma and the rest of our elected officials need to stop celebrating the death and get back to finding a way to save our country from bankruptcy. Afterall, Obama really had nothing to do with Usama's capture. It took six days for Obama and his staff to decide just what to do about it after learning his whereabouts. The White House photos of Obama and Clinton watching the operation, show how confused and afraid they were. Six days to make a decision that could have been made in six minutes! But at least the decision was correct.
Although I am pleased with what occurred, it is not a time to celebrate this thing publically. It just lowers all of us to our enemy's standard. No point in it. Remember how we felt when they dragged the corpses of our soldiers through the streets? And his death will by no means end radical Islam anyway.
Get focused again. Get Obama out. He's a bigger threat to our way of life that Usama ever was.
