Counting my Blessings

.
Now that the year is about to close, I want you all to know that I don't always dwell on Obama Bulloney.

It has been a wonderful year for us.  We've been healthy and are fortunate to be relatively financially stable.

We've had a marvelous opportunity to travel this great country, seeing sights that many have only read about in books or seen in a movie.  We've smelled the Rose Gardens of Pasadena, swam at beaches of both coasts.  We've watched Bald Eagles soar above our National Parks, and cried while standing on the battlefields of Gettysburg.

Stood beneath Niagara Falls, and admired the Amish in Ohio.  The Great Lakes and the once thriving cities of steel.  Historic baseball stadiums and the greatest golf courses in America.  Lobster tails and pizza galore along the east coast.  And a visit to Cape Canaveral, the very place that, as a child promised me that America was the leader in technology.

The Outer banks of the Carolina's and through the swamps of Louisiana.  The Great State of Texas and the canyons of Arizona.

But the most special memories of our year was spending time with our children, and their children.  Sharing their joy and offering encouragement for their future.  Singing, laughing and praying with them all the while knowing that they will someday be greater than anything I have imagined.

It's time to look forward now for me.  Splitting time spreading Obama Bulloney, and rediscovering myself in America.

Happy New Year!!
.
