For those that don't know, Germany is Europe's largest, and next to England, is the most influential. German Chancellor (President) Angela Merkel, about a month ago, announced publicly that Germany's "multikulti" concept where people of different backgrounds would live together happily has not worked in Germany.
How is it that such a bold and powerful statement made by a world leader been all but suppressed by the American media? But nothing can block Thought Dock portal and that allows me to share my wisdom with you.
Chancellor Merkel went on to say that beginning of the 1960s, Germany called foreigners to immigrate and assimilate into the country in order to form a diverse multi-cultural society. "We kidded ourselves. This hasn't been reality. The attempt to build a multicultural society and to live side by side and to enjoy each other ... has failed, utterly failed."
Merkel's comments came just days after a study by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation think tank found that more than 30 percent of people believed Germany was "overrun by foreigners" who had come to Germany chiefly for its social benefits. The audience gave her a standing ovation.
Sound familiar? Isn't that exactly what the majority of Americans are feeling about our immigration policies? But those that express those feelings are quickly labeled as racists, radicals, or extremists by the immigrants and liberals alike and are totally ignored by our government.
Close our borders now and evict those that are here illegally!

i was there in the 60's. i thought we were part of the US Army...not a test on multiculturalism. however, the army is a microcosim of just that. i love everybody. and they all smell differently.
ReplyDeletePeople smell differently so that blind people can tell them apart. Nature at it's best!
