Amazing Small Talk

I don't get it. I just visited two other blog sites. Now, I'm not into blasting other people's blogs, but this is just ridiculous.

One site encouraged smiling at someone to make their day better, and in so doing, it suggested that your day would be better in return. On another site, the question of the day was asking what mop would one buy her husband to make his job easier in the kitchen.

Here's the part I don't get. Each of these blogs got more responses (comments) than I do in my blog, although mine is filled with Thought Dock Wisdom about much more important subjects.

I guess it just goes to show how people turn away from life's tough decisions as an escape from the reality of truth.

Oh well. Congrats to the authors of those Small Talk blogs..

  1. People are week with timid when it comes to tough issues. I blame mostly the so called christains for the problems in this world because they are the ones that don't want to get there hands dirty. They can preach a good sermon but don't follow through with what was said. They also know if they can get somebody else to do it they wont have to...Like your blog bro, they read it but think your the one that is cooked. And the big wheel keeps on turning.....

  2. personally, being confident in my Lord and Saviour, I find your irritations of the macdaddy a bit....shall i say.....boring.
he is what is, he's gonna do what he's gonna do. i stand up when i think its necessary to say something, but other than that, like the boy above said, the big wheel keeps on turning.......
i did not imply that by smiling your day would get better. what i was trying to say was "if youre happy and you know it, show it"
as for the swiffer debate...you wouldn't get that...because you probably have never been responsible to buy a mop on a regular basis and i am sure that she was just looking out for her # 1.
don't be jeaolus of my numbers....who's counting?

  3. And besides, you're never fully dressed without a smile.
